IN ABSOLUTE SHOCK!! BEWARE!! My husband booked a Valentine's Day package for me so my massage was…read moreon February 15th at 4:45. I arrived to the spa at 4:05. When I walked in I was asked if I needed to use the restroom and then someone had walked into the restroom so I was told to sit down in the front. In the package it says to arrive 30 minutes early to enjoy mimosas and sweet treats. I did not get taken back to the relaxation room until I stood up and said something. They were too busy chit chatting than worrying about their customer. Finally I was taken back to the relaxation room about 10 minutes before my massage. When I walked in I was shocked they had camper chair for us to sit in, in a so called "relaxation" room. I literally had to chug down my drink and sweet treats before my massage. Finally the massage. ABSOLUTE worst massage I've ever received. The lady spent more time putting the mint oil infront of my nose than actually massage my neck and shoulders, which was literally suffocating. I was also told that hot stone would be included. I had maybe 5 minutes of hot stone on my back and then another 5 minutes of her massaging my back. I'm carrying around a newborn and toddler all day so that was extremely upsetting. My husband booked this massage as a postpartum gift since I just went through an emergency c section and he just wanted me to have a day of relaxation. I left there extremely upset and frustrated instead of feeling good. I ended up leaving a review that night which I've never left a review in my life. And then they replied and was told in the reply if I was open to it they'd like to discuss this further. I called the spa 3 times and the first time I called I was told I would probably just get a refund and that I would be getting a call back. Every other time I called I was given the runaround and told I would be getting a call back. Finally this morning I called and spoke with the owner. The owner was not nice at all and told me because I left a review she will not be giving me any type of compensation. She literally said that because I left a review for the public to see she will not be helping me. I didn't know that I wasn't entitled to leave a review of my experience and because I did I will not be helped. Absolute insanity. Worst customer service and WORST "spa" I've ever been to. Stay away from this horrid place.

I was told by the word of the tattoo artist I scheduled with (and gave a $100+ deposit to) that I…read morewould receive a mock-up of the idea I gave him prior to our appointment date set in approx. three weeks from consultation. They had my email and my Instagram to get it a mock up to. I received nothing, and when I got a call confirming my appointment, I brought this up. Still, I received nothing. I did not attend the appointment because I had not received what was promised. I explained this to the shop owner over the phone, and I quote "how old are you? You should know that it is your responsibility to show up for an appointment. This is the most bogus thing I have ever heard. It is not in our policy to provide a mock up, and because you are not here for your appointment, we would normally take your deposit and you would provide a new one. However, I will hold your deposit and you can reschedule if you would like." She hung up on me after I declined. I don't know about you, but I personally would not risk going to a tattoo shop after that interaction. I have been told in the past not to go to Jacksonville tattoo shops because they take advantage of Marines, and I believe this rings true. I've gotten tattoos in California, Arizona and Wilmington, and not one shop has required a deposit to make an appointment. However, two shops in Jacksonville I've been to (ATS and Forbidden) have required this. I've paid both and been tattoo'd by neither because I've been stunned by their treatment of clients and expectations both.
