I love that this business offers online booking because I was able to book my appointment while on my lunch break without having to give up any of my free time. Upon arriving at the salon, all workers in the store were following the guidelines laid out for businesses during COVID. Nikki was extremely professional and did amazing work! I believe she is the owner of the establishment. She made me feel extremely comfortable and always made sure that I was doing okay throughout the entire experience. I was able to try out "sugaring" for the first time at this salon. It was much less painful than waxing and did not make my face break out hours after my appointment. When I walked in I was asked if I needed to use the restroom and then someone had walked into the restroom so I was told to sit down in the front. In the package it says to arrive 30 minutes early to enjoy mimosas and sweet treats. I did not get taken back to the relaxation room until I stood up and said something. They were too busy chit chatting than worrying about their customer. Finally I was taken back to the relaxation room about 10 minutes before my massage. When I walked in I was shocked they had camper chair for us to sit in, in a so called "relaxation" room. I literally had to chug down my drink and sweet treats before my massage. Finally the massage. ABSOLUTE worst massage I've ever received. The lady spent more time putting the mint oil infront of my nose than actually massage my neck and shoulders, which was literally suffocating. I was also told that hot stone would be included. I had maybe 5 minutes of hot stone on my back and then another 5 minutes of her massaging my back. I'm carrying around a newborn and toddler all day so that was extremely upsetting. My husband booked this massage as a postpartum gift since I just went through an emergency c section and he just wanted me to have a day of relaxation. I left there extremely upset and frustrated instead of feeling good. I ended up leaving a review that night which I've never left a review in my life. And then they replied and was told in the reply if I was open to it they'd like to discuss this further. I called the spa 3 times and the first time I called I was told I would probably just get a refund and that I would be getting a call back. Every other time I called I was given the runaround and told I would be getting a call back. Finally this morning I called and spoke with the owner. The owner was not nice at all and told me because I left a review she will not be giving me any type of compensation. She literally said that because I left a review for the public to see she will not be helping me. I didn't know that I wasn't entitled to leave a review of my experience and because I did I will not be helped. Absolute insanity. Worst customer service and WORST "spa" I've ever been to. If you are looking for proactive care, competent front-office staff, or a medical team that honors its own protocols, stay as far away as possible. The Waiting Game- The process is a mess from the start. It took four months just to get a referral approved and an appointment set. Once you actually arrive, checking in is just a formality to sit in the lobby for what feels like an eternity, only to be rushed through the actual exam once you finally get into a room. Inflexible and Narrow-Minded Care- Don't bother asking about any secondary concerns. They strictly refuse to look at anything not explicitly mentioned on the referral. Even if you are sitting right in front of them with a visible issue, they won't lift a finger unless the paperwork allows it. Their "knowledge base" seems entirely dependent on cutting pieces out of you, the doctor explicitly stated she had no idea what my skin was doing and that a biopsy was the only solution. Broken Promises & Gatekeeping- The most egregious failure, is the lack of communication between the physicians and the administrative staff. The Agreement- The doctor told me it was "impossible" to diagnose without a biopsy during a flare-up. She instructed me to walk in immediately during a flare so they could finally get a sample. The Reality- When a flare-up finally occurred, I called to confirm--only to be met by Heather at the front desk. The Result- Heather flatly refused to honor the doctor's instructions, refused to consult with the doctor, and told me it would be days before I could even get a call back. This office is a revolving door of delays, ego, and medical negligence. Save your time, your money, and your skin, go somewhere that actually values patient outcomes.
