Doctor came in and noticed the loose tooth and asked if they could " just remove it and get it over with". I agreed thinking it was no big deal and wouldn't cost anything, and that is how they perceived with the question. Doctor to a paper towel and removed the tooth with zero evert and zero pain to my child. Weeks later a bill came in the mail with an over $200 dollar balance for a tooth extraction fee. I was going to pull that tooth my self in the coming days and not worry about anything, but the Dentist sounded like he should pull it to make things easier during the cleaning. Just watch out with this place, they will charge you for every little thing, we have been fighting this for years now and they are threating to send us to collections over pulling a very loose tooth with a paper towel. Be very careful!

He genuinely cares about your comfort, your health and is one of the most outgoing and positive providers I've ever had. His staff is courteous , pleasant and easy to talk too... extending the same level of care that you're used to with Dr. O'Dwyer. I've had everything from cleanings to root canals, This dentist office is top notch , I happily drive an hour for my visits and would find it hard to believe you wouldn't after your first visit.

I did notice there were staff changes, and I know that can be difficult sometimes, but the overall care of Dr. Wing has been horrible. My 5 year old went in in January and was told he needed fillings. The Dr. did attempt to do them but my son was less than enthusiastic. In the end, we decided we'd wait a few months to try again, since they were not bad. I called today to have him seen and the dentist blatantly refused to see him citing that the "tooth was too decayed for him to do." Unbeknownst to me, Dr. Wing is not just a dentist, but also a psychic. Considering he hasn't seen my son in months and back when he did, he said the cavities weren't bad and we could wait until his June cleaning to address them again, I'm failing to see how he can see inside his mouth, over a phone, from 2 towns away. I spoke with the new receptionist again, asking if I was hearing her correctly: That my child's pediatric dentist is refusing to see my child and HELP him, while he's in pain. I heard correctly. I highly do NOT recommend this practice and I will be taking my children to a new practice that actually cares.

It was easy to make an appointment they are open for more that half a day on Saturdays. They are a children dentistry and a general family dentistry. On weekends they have a different doctor attending than the regular weekday doctor. It was clean. The wait was a little long 20 min over my appointment but that didn't bother me. They make you feel comfortable, they talk you through the procedure as they do it making sure your fine. I used to hate going to a dentist coz of all the traumatic experiences I've had but after my visit here I'm not terrified anymore.

I did not sign anything or say I would pay for services or materials I couldn't use yet they argued I owed a lab fee of $250 because they can't control what the lab does. They told my credit card company I had the partial and was satisfied. I filed a dispute with proof that it was not true and added they did not make an insurance claim which made no sense if I was satisfied--and filing one would be insurance fraud. A week before the dispute was decided Dr. Kim filed a fraudulent claim for an "oral evaluation," which it wasn't, to enable them to "win" the dispute and keep the $574 I paid in good faith. The oral eval was done and paid months earlier. Beware. A response was posted (on google) by Buckland Dental 9/12/24. Everything they accused me of, or implied, is a lie. Wicked people with a smile. Now I'll take the next step.

They performed my extractions after I had been on antibiotics for only one day, which wasn't enough time to clear the infection. As a result, my face became extremely inflamed. Despite knowing I am diabetic and at higher risk, Dr. Dental refused to let me come in for emergency care. I had to go to an oral surgeon in Meriden, CT who, with the help of her assistant, had to painfully drain a very large abscess. Additionally, I had a root canal on tooth #30 that was done improperly. I've had a large hole in that tooth since May 2025. When the filling broke, the office told me to buy a temporary fill from CVS or Walgreens to avoid me coming back. Because they delayed treating other cavities, I now need more root canals due to nerve damage. This office (specifically Spencer St, Manchester CT) is a "mill" that overbooks for financial gain. They are greedy and dismissive of patient safety. Please do your research and believe the low ratings--your health isn't worth the risk.

He's 23 now & I paid them in full but with their threats.. the threat was that if my son dsnt show up in time or at all for his braces removal then the payment I made would be null in void.. in other words, they would take the money & never take off his braces. I tried within these last 10 years to have other dental offices to remove them & offered to pay but they couldn't because Columbia Dental has a contract which states that other dentist/ orthodontist can not touch what their orthodontist have stated.. I found out this information thru other dentists. So beware before going here.. they may have better hours and availability than most dentists but their tactics are evil. My sons braces are finally off but he still has crooked teeth because it was just metal in his mouth all these years.. he never received the proper care he needed for a person with braces.
