He genuinely cares about your comfort, your health and is one of the most outgoing and positive providers I've ever had. His staff is courteous , pleasant and easy to talk too... extending the same level of care that you're used to with Dr. O'Dwyer. I did not sign anything or say I would pay for services or materials I couldn't use yet they argued I owed a lab fee of $250 because they can't control what the lab does. They told my credit card company I had the partial and was satisfied. I filed a dispute with proof that it was not true and added they did not make an insurance claim which made no sense if I was satisfied--and filing one would be insurance fraud. A week before the dispute was decided Dr. Kim filed a fraudulent claim for an "oral evaluation," which it wasn't, to enable them to "win" the dispute and keep the $574 I paid in good faith. The oral eval was done and paid months earlier. Beware. A response was posted (on google) by Buckland Dental 9/12/24. Everything they accused me of, or implied, is a lie. Wicked people with a smile. Now I'll take the next step.

It was easy to make an appointment they are open for more that half a day on Saturdays. They are a children dentistry and a general family dentistry. On weekends they have a different doctor attending than the regular weekday doctor. It was clean. The wait was a little long 20 min over my appointment but that didn't bother me. They make you feel comfortable, they talk you through the procedure as they do it making sure your fine. I used to hate going to a dentist coz of all the traumatic experiences I've had but after my visit here I'm not terrified anymore.

However, it got denied due to a lack of TIN. Aspen Dental now refuses to give me their TIN and says they have to give it to my insurance directly due to HIPPA, which is just not true. They also refuse to call my insurance to give the TIN to them, and my insurance says they cannot call the office. I am now stuck in a cycle of the two refusing to call each other and cannot get my money back for the service.

I called the office Thursday after hours, pressed "0" for emergencies and Dr Zack Grillo picked right up. I really have liked this place, but the last few visits have left an uneasy feeling in me. I got a…read moreroot canal done recently and had been informed that it was necessary since my tooth failed the diagnostic cold test (even though it wasn't even hurting anymore). They were even able to take care of it the day of, but I hadn't realized that they would be essentially destroying my tooth into a nub. At the time, I felt like it made no difference to get a second opinion or not and it had felt like it would be an urgent issue to not treat it at the moment, so I said sure. They had informed me that they would bill my insurance and I knew my insurance was supposed to cover it up to 50%. Well, come to find out that it's pretty standard for insurance to require a certain percentage of damage to have occurred before they're willing to cover it. I was very upset to find out that my insurance had a separate opinion say it wasn't damaged enough and that I had to pay the bill in full. The financial consultant at the dentist's informed me that this was common and that they had in fact already appealed twice (without my knowledge). I was not very happy to find out that not only did they know that this could have been an issue with my insurance and fail to inform me prior to my procedure (in which case I probably would have asked them to check with my insurance for coverage BEFORE getting the procedure done), but also that because they had already appealed without my knowledge, I had less power to have a say in the case, such as providing information relevant to my specific policy, which in fact does NOT mention any sort of percentage of damage required. As much as I have enjoyed their care up to date, I was very disappointed in how my care was managed in this particular situation and it has definitely affected how much I trust my service with them in the future. While I recommend them for general care, I would be wary to some degree and seek a second opinion before getting involved in a major oral procedure.

This is my last attempt to seek a civil resolution from the owners Dr. Sharma and Dr. Ranji for the work Dr. Brown performed, knowing that I was not going to be approved for a crown to begin with, destroying my teeth..as Stevie Wonder could see clearly. There is soooo much more that I'm leaving out due to the fact that this may have to go into civil and/or criminal aspects. I am simply asking for the help I originally came in for and to fix all of the mistakes made while under the care of signature smiles. I need my mouth unfucked now!! I am done being patient and polite, this is completely irresponsible by ones who call themselves professionals and I have been bullshitted since the first time they said they submitted for my crowns and never did(have proof of that too)!
