To preface we were first time home buyers looking in an extremely busy and fast turning neighborhood. We started searching for our home in September of 2023 and finally closed on our first home after almost 11 months later- and Erich was so patient and with us every step of the way! He was extremely familiar with the area, which was helpful, but even more so was his knowledge of houses. He's been doing this for many years, and it shows. Walking through older houses can be daunting, especially when considering the seller may ask you to wave inspection with the way the market is right now. Erich was able to point things out that we never would have known about and educated us so much about the history of housing materials (what's dangerous, what's good, etc.). He was able to point out if a floor was sloped, windows would need replacing, efficient furnaces, you name it we learned about it and knew what to look for anytime we went to an open house. We never felt pressured by Erich to buy a house we didn't love, and he was always in agreement with us about putting an offer in or not. He was very communicative and quick to respond, always got our offers in on time even if it was down to the wire, and followed up with us regularly to see how things were going. There was almost never a time that Erich declined to show us a house due to scheduling conflicts, he was always available for us. Overall, we couldn't recommend Erich enough, especially as a first-time home buyer.
