BEWARE OF BAIT AND SWITCH TACTICS I ordered a 5 gallon keg online through the Dart Liquor website and picked it up 2.20.13. Price on the website lists $73, but I was charged $88 at the counter. I sent an email on 2.21.13 about the pricing issue. No response. I sent a second email 2.26.13 and got a response. Here is the response from Dart... The website does say prices subject to change. The site needs to be updated. Dart Bev Co I am writing this review so people assume all pricing is outdated and "subject to change" and if there are any discrepancies it is not Dart's fault. If Dart reads this review, a better approach to the situation could have been... offer a refund for the difference, offer a credit on my next keg, offer to meet me in the middle with a refund, offer me a discount on beer from the Beer Cave, offer me a position to update the pricing on Dart website (I work for beer). Instead you chose to make your pricing error my fault. I have been buying 5 gallon kegs from Dart Liquor (Kings Beverage) for the last 2 years. I am perfectly fine with an error in pricing, but not fine with how they chose to handle the situation when it was brought to their attention. We randomly went into Dart Beverage for some root beer. Quickly we were greeted by a friendly staff member named Steve. He pointed us to Abita Root Beer and said it was awesome. Being so nice, we also asked about single malt scotch whiskey. Steve recommended Arran and we were sold. Steve let us sample some Tahoe Blue Vodka and we bought a copper mug with the logo. Steve was amazing and was a true expert in everything Dart sold. The Abita and Arran WERE excellent. Thank you! We will be back. Steve deserves a raise! :) read more

This used to be one of my favorite local stores to go to for any needs until I purchased a keg a bout a month ago. First of all the tap was horrible and there was no way to release any kind of air. Second any liquid of beer that would come out of the kegs was allllllll foam. I purchased a 15 gallon keg and ended up using absolutely none of it because it was too foamy and this was for a family party so we had to buy even more beer because this kegs was trash. The next day I returned the keg completely full and the cashier said he will try to get a refund back. What you mean try? Still to this day no word from them and no refund and very poor customer service. I spent over $300 and it went to the garbage just like that. But look at the bright side no more shopping at dart. Outstanding assortment of all kinds of beers, wines, and liquors! Was just there last week and wanted to observe all the outstanding changes! Walked out with $100 worth of wine and liquor. Excellent customer skills by an employee name of Steven who spent time with my wife and I answering questions about the huge assortment of wines and other liquors. The Mecca of beverage stops. Every type of beer, wine and soda you can imagine. There's an igloo full of 12 packs, and somewhere around 20 fridges full of beer and soda. There's a growler station as well. Highly recommend. read more

The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, which inspired me to return each day of my stay. I've not seen so diverse a selection of beers where I had the option of mix and matching my own six pack. They also had a local brewery on tap to fill growlers. They have quite the assortment of beer, more than I've seen in one place not to mention that they fill Growlers there also.
