Dr. Darzev has been my doctor since I moved to Vegas in 2011. she's on top of everything! Brilliant and gets to the point at each visit. She's a Family Doctor. Always keeps track of my blood work and medications. And, because of her findings in 2018, I'm a cancer survivor! I sought help and with a wonderful Surgeon and Oncologist, and Gastroenterologist, I'm here today. People have rudely commented about Dr Darzev lacking bedside attitude, but you see her for help, not to have tea and cookies. Dr Darzev works very hard and she is a lovely woman. Dr Darzev is AMAZING! She's thorough, knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely cares about me, and according to her patients in her waiting room, they adore her too! Although Dr Darzev is attentive, the office is only about making as much money as they can. Always a wait. Always student doctors. Want to ask the doc a question between appts, make another appointment. No communication outside of your actual appt. I asked if I could email the doctor, I was told I had to make an appointment. I was going for a series of bloodwork and asked to have one thing added to the list. The only way for that to happen was to make an appointment and pay for another copay. My wife, 17 year old, and 14 year old daughters went to her and her office. We have left them immediately after being INHUMANE and UNETHICAL. They lack of caring and how she and her staff don't care is incredible. We have never seen anything like them and would tell everyone to stay away since their medical and business practice is disgusting in so many ways. As a patient of Dr. Darzev's for years, I often found her mannerisms and style to be difficult - her approach is severely clinical and cold, always rushed, sometimes patronizing, and quite frankly, scary to talk to. I have been seeing Dr. Darzev on and off for years. She is unbelievable when it comes to bedside manor, she has none. I have to have my gallbladder removed. She referred me to a surgeon with 2 stars. I get it, it is not the best way to get a Doctor, but I do read the review especially when they will be doing surgery on me. When I call the office back to tell them that I did not want to go with Darzev's recommendation. I was told that she would get back to me. I gave the front desk the Name of the new surgeon and the fax number. Waited 5 days and had to call her office back again to see if the referral had been sent to the new surgeon. When I was on the phone with the front desk I was told that the Dr is really busy because her assistant was out on maternity leave. I would have to be patient. I told her sorry I would try to keep the pain in my gut under control because Dr. Darzev is busy. Darzev need to get a new bedside manor and train her front desk people, so they don't sound so ridiculous. read more

We found this doctor, by chance, calling through our medical providers directory. They were the first ones that had an appointment available that wasn't weeks out (they actually even squeezed her in after I explained the situation my wife was in). After I made the appointment for my wife I checked some of the reviews on yelp and sort of began to have mixed feelings. The reason we were looking for a different doctor to begin with was because the doctor/dermatologist my wife had before was awful (full disclosure, avoid Dr. Ken Landow at all costs; super unfriendly and unprofessional staff; has cheap,tacky advertisements for products he sells/applies on large Tv screens in every exam room (this should have been an eye opener at the type of establishment he's trying to run). However, once we got to Dr. Darzevs office my perception of this doctor and her very well run office changed greatly. The waiting room was average; sort of loud Tv with some annoying Tv show, but that's fine. Receptionist kind and friendly. The receptionists are behind a glass sliding wall (which seems sort of strange) but may perhaps be because of privacy for them or because of the loud Tv. Either way, as long as you know what to expect, you shouldn't be too shocked. Wait time was also average. May have waited max 15 minutes. Once in the exam room, there was a medical intern resident that took her blood pressure etc and asked about the condition so she could confer with the doctor. A few minutes later the doctor came in, talked to my wife about her condition, assured her (earnestly) they were going to find out exactly what she had (which is something the other doctor didn't do) and ordered a large range of blood tests. (The dermatologist, only ordered one) I am writing this review about a week after our visit and we are in the process of receiving our results. Dr. Darzev also recommend that she visit an actual dermatologist (she gave a personal recommendation) while they wait for all the tests etc. Long story short, the doctor is great, the doctor is sincere and the doctor take ownership of the situation. Meh, is right! This place is ridiculous. I have been going to Dr. Darzev and have never ONCE received an examination from her... I usually get seen by the PA and when the last one left I scheduled an appt with the Dr... She didn't even examine me! No checking of my eyes, ears, throat...nothing. If it wasn't for some medical student intern I probably wouldn't have had my blood pressure checked either. Also, they are horrible with getting your lab results back to you. If everything is "OK" you will hear nothing, yup...nothing. Not even a courtesy phone call to let you know your money wasn't wasted and your A-OK. I had to call and basically hound the staff before I got a call back from the nurse to go over my results. The only upside to this doctors office is that the front desk staff is friendly and that its close to my house, other than that there is nothing spectacular about this place... Our experience with Dr. Darzev, found her rude, arrogant and condescending. Totally unprofessional. Not only did she possess a nasty attitude, but it honestly didn't seem like she was familiar with practicing medicine. When patients need to instruct the Dr. to check a child's spine during a routine annual check-up, something is not right. We were rushed through the entire process and I have never been so upset by a doctor in my entire life. To compliment this poor service, the Dr's assistant's had no clue why we were even there, despite the fact we scheduled an annual physical exam. It was like the entire office had just opened that day. Absolutely unprofessional. Although her office is in a convenient Summerlin location, driving a little further down the road is well worth the health of your family. These ladies were fantastic. I just moved into town and found I had a minor infection, picked the first name from my new plan that caught my eye, and went for it. They got me in on the same day. I was super late trying to find the place, cause the building was really hard to navigate with tiny signs and confusing directories, hence not five stars. They still whizzed me right in. I saw the nurse practitioner, then Dr. Darzev came in to finish things up. Both the doctor and the nurse were no-nonsense, and spoke to me like an intelligent adult. I have been going to this doctor for SIXTEEN YEARS because it was my only option. I am getting a new doctor ASAP. I was left in an extremely precarious position because her office FOR NO REASON, declined to renew a crucial prescription. EVEN WORSE, they never even notified me. I had to find out by calling my pharmacy which also never notified me. Darzev's office does not care about you, your time, or your emotional or physical well being. This was the final straw, but even before this the wait times were excruciating, Biliana was also very short and arrogant with me, and never really listened to the questions I asked, always interrupting me mid-sentence. read more

Dr. Darzev has been the primary care physician for both my spouse and myself for years. She is personable, and rather good at keeping on schedule. The longest I've waited is maybe half an hour past my appointment time; on a busy day. She used to have physicians assistants on staff which made it easier to get a quick appointment (same week). You had your choice of seeing her or a physician assistant(which seemed just as thorough and helpful). She however always performs the more "serious" exams. She also has interns regularly, and is polite to ask if it's okay they are in the room during ones appointment (best way to learn). She listens to me and is what i consider rather thorough, especially when it comes to blood work, x rays, and ultrasounds. If she feels it would help wth diagnosis, she orders it. The office staff is nice and efficient. I've never had billings errors or issues. There is a Quest lab on premises for bloodwork! read more

Dr. Darzev is very nice and knowledgeable. The physician's assistant came and spoke to me first and then she came in for further clarification. Very personable, upbeat, laughing and gave a great explanation of what she thought was going on and why she was going to have me on the meds she prescribed. Dr. Darzev is our family doctor. She treats both my husband and I as well as my in laws. She is very helpful and takes the necessary time with each patient. I love that when my hubby and I have appointments one the same day we can usually be seen together. It makes it easier on them and us. I have had to go to Dr. Darzev's office 4 times a year for observations. Each time I go to her office, the nurses and receptionists are very kind and considerate, but I wait for 30-40 minutes to see her, which wouldn't be a big deal if she didn't treat me like a burden when I am there. She asks me to come in every six months for blood work and tests, and then I have to go in for another appointment for my results. EVERY TIME I meet with her she asks me why I'm there. She never explains why she wants to do so many tests on me, and when I ask her questions she is very condescending. She makes me feel stupid for asking me questions, and replies very impatiently. She talks a lot to her assistant or nurse about me, while I am sitting in front of her. It makes me feel self-conscious, and it's unprofessional. I am nervous going to the Doctor to begin with. My gynecologist (completely different doctor) treats me so well, and I feel like she genuinely wants to help me, so I am shocked every time I go to see Dr. Darzev. She treats me like I'm just a number, not a person. Sometimes she will just leave, and I have no idea that my appointment is over. I have to walk out and ask the receptionist if they need anything else from me. I understand she is probably busy, but is it that hard to say "good-bye, have a nice day?" or even treat me like a human being. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Darzev for 15 years and have always found her to be on point and cautious. My daughter had serious problems and she took care of everything in a matter of days. In my opinion, Dr. Darvez should really take a look at the practices that she instills and should consider each patient individually with the utmost of care. To be honest, I really liked the PA that was there last year. Unfortunately, she is no longer at this location. Dr. Darvez literally spent six minutes with me when I came in for an infection. She spent half of this time trying to discuss why I'm not on birth control. It's obvious she hasn't ever reviewed my files. Ugh!! She refused to give me a prescription for my infection until I I took an x-ray and said she would call me that evening with the results. Of course I had the x-ray taken right away. Thank goodness I didn't hold my breathe! The technician even stated that I my doctor should have prescribed me something for an infection. I never received a call back despite leaving messages with the secretary. Communication is horrible, both with patients and other medial facilities. I wasn't impressed at all by Dr. Darvez; It's too bad the other PA is no longer there. Pros: 1) They can typically get you in on the same day; however, I'm not sure how much that matters if she doesn't listen anyway 2) The PA gave me a good referral for an endocrinologist (the endocrinologist's office had to call them three times to get my referral docs though) 3) You can get blood drawn at office if necessary 4) Office staff was kind read more

I had to have back surgery recently. My Orthopedic Surgeon required a "pre-op clearance". Having no Family Doctor yet, I asked him for a referral. He referred me to Dr. Darzev, and stated that if I couldn't get an appt quickly, let him know, and he would call her to get me in. When I called her office the receptionist stated that Dr Darzev isn't accepting new patients at this time. When I told her who referred me, they accomodated me. I felt a sense of arrogance from this Dr. Now, 3 weeks after surgery, I called to make an appt. to establish a DR/Patient relationship. Due to the fact that I was already there once, they set an appt. I went in this week, and have to say I am sorry!! I wasted a $30 co-pay. When Dr Darzev finally came into my exam room, I took out the medications I have been taking for over 2 years now. I asked her if she would authorize my refills, and her comment was as follows: " I don't prescribe these medications, and am certainly not going to authorize your refills". I was flabbergasted!! Now I have to go to Urgent Care ( on Tenaya, these Dr's are PRO'S), to get my medication refills, and am looking again for a new Doctor for my wife and myself! read more

Never have to wait long, unlike any other drs office I've been to in Vegas. She is direct, great at giving an explanation of your disease process and an excellent diagnostician. Her referrals to specialists are also spot on. Love the girls in the office too! read more
