If I could give this office 0 stars, I would…read more I first visited Queensridge for a consultation last August and paid my $75 copay at the time of my appointment. The entire visit with the doctor lasted less than five minutes. I was then sent for blood work. Even though I had fasted beforehand just in case, I was told the specific test had to be completed before a certain time, so I had to schedule another appointment. When I returned for my second appointment after making another 30-minute drive, I was informed that the phlebotomist wasn't there, so I couldn't even have my blood drawn. After two disappointing visits, I decided not to return to this office. To make matters worse, I later received a bill for an additional $73. I spent over six months trying to get someone to explain why I owed more money after already paying my copay. I called weekly, left countless messages, and never received a return call. Because no one would respond, the balance was eventually sent to collections. I paid the balance just to deal with the collections issue, then disputed the charge with my bank because even they agreed the situation seemed unusual. Despite that, I am still being billed for the same charge. Once again, I spent months trying to get answers with no response. When I finally reached someone, I was essentially told that if I didn't pay, it would simply be sent to collections again. No one could actually explain why I owed the money. I no longer have the insurance I had at the time of my visit, and I was also told the doctor I originally saw doesn't even work there anymore. The lack of communication and patient care at this office is unacceptable. Ignoring patients for months while continuing to bill them and threaten collections is not how a medical practice should operate. If they put even half as much effort into helping their patients as they do collecting money, this situation could have been resolved long ago. I will never return and would not recommend this office to anyone looking for a practice that values communication, professionalism, or patient care.

When I called, I was met with an automated message, standard these days, but there were no options for new patients or to reach medical staff. I stayed on the line without pressing any keys, and a human did eventually answer. They were polite, soft-spoken, and informed me that the clinic operates on a membership model. Digging into the site later, I found that membership runs around $3,200 per year. What's not clearly explained is how this integrates with existing insurance. There's no detail on whether labs, prescriptions, or procedures are billed separately or offset at all. Nothing against the clinic itself, but after watching another practice in town fall apart post-buyout, I'm not eager to throw more money into the healthcare black hole, especially on top of already sky-high insurance premiums. Las Vegas isn't exactly budget-friendly, and this setup seems designed more for the west side crowd with disposable income than for the average patient just trying to get solid care without financial acrobatics.

While they brought me back on time, I waited 45 minutes for the doctor. When she arrived, she completely ignored my requests to discuss my severe depression, focusing only on my diabetes. I was also supposed to get a continuous glucose monitor sensor placed in my arm, but because of an office computer glitch, the doctor rushed out and never came back. I was left sitting there until a nurse rushed me out 20 minutes later just to tell me to book another appointment. They failed to give me my missing referrals for a cardiologist and a sleep study, and I was dismissively told I should be smart enough to figure out my own diabetic diet. My diabetes is not under control, and ignoring a patient's mental healthcare while failing to provide basic treatment is unacceptable.

As a veteran, I value honesty, directness, and accountability, and that's exactly what Joe provides. He tells me the truth, even when it's not what I want to hear. He doesn't sugarcoat things or rush through appointments--he takes the time to explain what's going on and reminds me that while some health conditions are beyond my control, many are not. He's helped me realize that there are things I can do to improve my health, and when I ignore them, he holds me accountable in a respectful but straightforward way. I appreciate that because it shows he genuinely cares about my long-term health, not just treating symptoms. After reading some of the negative reviews, I'd like to remind people that healthcare providers are people--not magicians. They can diagnose, treat, educate, and guide us, but they can't make our choices for us. We all have a responsibility to take an active role in our own health, follow medical advice, and make the lifestyle changes that are within our control. PA-C Joe E. has earned my trust because he is knowledgeable, honest, compassionate, and willing to have the difficult conversations that good healthcare sometimes requires. I would much rather have a provider who tells me what I need to hear than one who simply tells me what I want to hear. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a provider who truly cares about their patients' well-being.
