******WARNING******* IF YOU HAVE AN IPHONE, DO NOT TAKE YOUR…read morePHONE TO THIS PLACE!!! THEY ARE NOT AN APPLE CERTIFIED REPAIR SHOP!!! All Apple phones have serial numbers on the internal parts of their phones and will not function properly with an aftermarket part. You risk damaging your phone by installing non genuine Apple parts. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max. It's always in a case with a screen protector. The screen was cracked from a freak accident. The screen was cracked but the touch feature worked fine. I went to "Cell Phone Fix" because I was unable to make it to an Apple store (My mistake). I went in person to this store and asked the store owner if he would be able to replace my screen with an actual APPLE OEM (original equipment manufacturer) part. He said that he had a refurbished OEM APPLE screen and would be able to fix it. He told me to hold on so he could call his brother to make sure he could. He spoke to his brother in a form of Arabic over the phone and then told me he would be able to fix it for $350. He told me it'd take him one hour to fix. I asked him again, to reassure myself that the part was an actual OEM APLE part before he touched my phone. He said, "Yes, it's an actual refurbished Apple screen. You won't be able to tell a difference." I turned my phone off and handed it to him. I waited inside the store for him to repair. After the repair was complete, the screen appeared to be fine. From the actual appearance of the phone (turned off) you wouldn't be able to tell that anything happened. When I turned my phone on, there was a notification in the settings that said, "unknown part." This notification further explained that the phone was unable to determine that the display screen installed on the phone was an original part, genuine Apple part. I inquired to the store owner about this issue and he said, "Give it 3-5 business days and it will go away." After further inspection of the phone, I noticed that there was no "true black" on the black portions of the screen. OLED displays show true black. LCD screens will not. This was a cheap LCD screen that I was charged $350. Throughout the day, my phone would randomly turn off, over heat and the battery drained significantly faster than prior to the repair. The next day I took my phone to the Apple store in fear that my phone would be ruined from prolonged use of the fake screen. This caused my phone to be out of warranty so I had to pay for an out of warranty repair with Apple just to get my phone fixed. I have attached pictures of the difference between my phone and my wife's. If you look, you can definitely see a significant difference in the screens. The phone on the left is my wife's. The one on the right is mine. The black looks like bluish because it's not an OLED screen.

She was extremely embarrassed and David took very good care of her. He put everything into layman's terms for her and assured her that she is not the only one that has had this problem. He also explained to her what she should do in the case that it happened again. After working with us for about 20-30 minutes he handed her phone and it was ready to go. We appreciate the time he took to help us. He was very professional, prompt and polite. If I have any other issues with my phone, I will definitely go and see David at Cell Phone Fix. Thanks David for helping us out today.

I took my iPhone 16 pro here on 8/6/26 for a simple screen repair after I dropped a tool on it. I saw the multiple 5 star reviews on google and was thankful they could get me in so quickly before I left to go on vacation to NYC. That repair cost $165, all fair, all good. While in NYC I got caught in a storm and my phone got rained on briefly leading it to get water behind the camera mechanism somehow? Living in OKC my phone has been rained on before but never had anything remotely close to that happen. After the NYC rain, then the screen went completely black and I didn't have a phone for the 2 weeks I was in NYC. I brought it back to Dash since it was still "under warranty" from their "repair". The man said it was water damage so it wasn't under warranty. I told him my phone was previously rated up to 6m until they "repaired it" but whatever, just fix it. He said it might cost more than $165 because it's water damage. I told him to just fix it. He fixed it in 20 minutes by replacing the screen, that's it. Told me he was doing me a favor and only charging me $100. I asked him if it was just the screen and he confirmed. I asked him why then the warranty didn't cover it and he said it was water damage. Okay fine. I gave him the $100. Now my Apple Intelligence button is constantly being engaged to the point of my phone overheating and dying quickly. Should've just paid the $300 to Apple if I knew that this place was so shoddy. Go literally anywhere else

I came back into the shop to see what they could do, after waiting an hour one of the workers was no help and said i would have to pay another $160 to fix. the workers are out to scam whoever they can.
