They charged him $43 for "diagnostic" to say the screen needs to be replaced and it took several hours to "diagnose"... what... When he came back they told him it would be $100 to repair the screen and he said he'll wait to do it since we were leaving to go out of town! Came back a couple of weeks later to fix the screen and was told that since we didn't do it right away the price is now $150 but if we do the screen and battery they'll discount for $260! A brand new iPad is currently on sale for $279.99 at Best Buy. Anyway, we took the iPad to the Apple Store, free diagnostic, and a screen replacement is $130. My husband said, "this is why some local businesses fail for their greed" and wow I couldn't agree more. Go somewhere else! Don't pay for a diagnostic here. The diagnostic is free at the Apple Store and Best Buy! Avoid the rudeness, disregard, and greed from this business! Read the rest of the reviews and you'll see that their service is not quality service. I told my husband we dodged a bullet because of all of the complaints on Yelp that after the screen replacement people have issues with the new screen or start button. I'm not sure how they're still in business because they're overcharging for a bad job and not taking accountability for their low quality service when people complain.

It's hard to find quotes online, but I saw in reviews on Google that other people had iPads repaired here for under $100. I figured it was worth it to stop in and ask for a quote. The friendly person informed me it would be $85. I thought that was reasonable, and they said it'd be ready in a couple of hours. They had it ready exactly when they told me and the screen looked new again! So, if you don't want to shell out the money for a new device and you don't have the warranty with Apple, this is a good option for repairing it!
