We had a terrific experience with Dashing Events, and would recommend them to anybody. They made the process very easy for us. Omead was our contact, and he was very communicative and responded quickly for the most part. They have an online portal that we really enjoyed using, where we entered all the details, a-z, including song choices for dancing, ceremony, reception, (including must-play and do-not-plays), contact information for other vendors, order of events, et. al. And Omead spent multiple phone calls with me going over details, helping to reassure me that they had everything under control - which they totally did. We had a Lebanese-American wedding, so we had a zeffeh with a live dance performance for the grand entrance of the bride & groom, and they worked with the dance group and figured out the timing for everything without us having to worry about it at all. And they did a great job of blending a mix of Arabic and Western music that kept both families engaged and enjoying the evening. We were pretty dissatisfied with the music at our Wedding. There were many times that the dance floor was left empty because the music was substandard. They do an awful job listening to what their clients want played. Any questions you ask them about their style they will just say they know that type of music even though they do not. It does not seem that they took into account much of our recommendations. They played so much Latin style EDM music and we did not include any of that in our recommendations. The music that was played for the older African American crowd was AWFUL. We put music in our recommendations and he failed to play them. He didn't even play Marvin Gaye. We had that on our must play and he still did not play it. Unfortunately, after speaking to our Persian guests they did not enjoy the Persian music that much either. He did not play Persian songs that we recommended either. Even during dinner, he played just a few of our recommendations (we provided a list of well over an hours worth of songs for this time specifically). Overall, he did a bad job. The only time he really played music we wanted was when our friend went up to him and told him to start playing music we would like. As for the photo booth, they used the wrong style of photo strip. They gave us a postcard style when we as for a long narrow strip with a different style. So, our feedback is that it this event was very poorly run, we were not listened to and at every turn there were mistakes made. read more

I was looking for an Iranian/Afghani DJ and happen to find DE! They had a great list of music selection, and were very open to accepting the songs I wanted as well. Omead is your main point of contact. The first day I reached out he called me, we talked, and I just knew they were the right group for my wedding. Other DJs I contacted really took their time to get back to me, did not go out of their way to connect with me, or answer all my questions like Omead did. I highly recommend Dashing Events and Omead! We recently used them for a 300-guest outdoor Bat Mitzvah for which we needed different zones with different music and volume levels, a large screen and an MC. The sound quality was perfect and DJ Maz was able to both follow our musical requests and gauge the crowd's taste for music. Our MC for the evening was Tehran and he was excellent! Tehran had a great way of making our daughter and us feel relaxed while getting the crowd going and involved in the party. Tehran was funny, warm and quite witty. We met about three or four times prior to the party and Omead was always extremely helpful and helped us plan the entertainment for the evening. Overall excellent services provided to us by Dj Maha who emceed our event on 03/28/2015 our Mexican/Italian and Afghan wedding. Dj Maha played exactly what we asked him and provided a really good mix throughout the entire night. Playing at a multicultural wedding like ours is not an easy task but these guys impressed! I searched all over for a Persian/American DJ and when I found Dashing Events I was so excited and not only did they not disappoint they exceeded my expectations. The website is easy to use and helpful for organizing the flow of the wedding with your music recommendations. I told him to play some awesome hip hop dance music mixed in with Arabic music to keep people on the floor. There are too many DJs flooding the market that were trying to win our business by "offering us the best price" or just being overly superlative in describing their services. Dashing Events has a great digital brochure that shows you a portfolio of awesome ad-ones such as an instrumentalist, drapery, fog machines and a photo booth. Definitely order the photo booth, as you will get a far better deal than going with a vendor that only does photo booths. On our wedding night, DJ Maz was running the show and all of our guests were raving about it. Very classy guy I tell you. Everyone was energized, jumping, and shouting. I'm pretty sure the dance floor exceeded it's weight limit for night - he was that great at motivating people to dance. Maz flows the music clean and smooth; no hard stops in between, so everything and everyone lives in this music bubble with no beginning or end. We had an amazing wedding and experience with Dashing Events. Omead and his crew were very professional setting up the lighting and sound. The string lights provided the perfect ambiance that we were looking for and the spark fountains were a MAJOR hit. Highly recommend at least 4 spark fountains. We used them for our grand entrance and you could hear the awe from our guests. The technicians on site also repositioned them so we could use them during the open dancing, which also made for some amazing moments. The sound system was high quality and the dance floor was packed from start to finish.
