Having a backyard wedding is not easy. Everything needs to be planned for. Worst experience I've ever had with a DJ. If they send you DJ Manuel. Cancel cancel cancel! First of all my party started at 6:30 and they wanted to get there at 6:30 and they said well we figured we have you a deal and most people don't get there when the party starts. I told them I've never been to a party where the DJ gets there to set up when the party starts. They did work with us and got there early after I said something. But when the guys got here the music was nothing we asked for. They had asked us for a play list of "must haves" not one song was played. I went up and asked him to play a song and he said okay and then never played it. I went back up to request another song and he still didn't play it. I finally went up there and was like "hey did you get the play list we sent because nothing is being played". He said "yes I was just starting off slow music". I was like well everyone is waiting to dance it's not over 3 hours into the party we need more uplifting music". He said okay. Tell me why he still NEVER played one song on that list. It was the most bizarre thing ever. I was so upset that everyone was ready to dance and this DJ did not get a clue nor know what he was doing. I mean we gave him songs. Even guests gave songs and he still didn't play them. Needless to say everyone started leaving because the music was not popping. I've never had this happen. At around 11pm the cops came and I was almost relieved because at least we had a reason to shut the party down and it wasn't because we had the worst music ever. I was very disappointed. I've had so many parties and just found it so odd that a DJ never played the music you asked for. My guests even complained and my daughter who it was her 13th burthday party woke up the next day and said "mom the dj never even played any of our songs we gave him". read more

I found Rene by reading all the awesome yelp reviews for him. We used him this past weekend for a wedding we threw in our backyard. Rene and his crew exceeded our expectations and even went out of the way to bring a special cable that was needed to connect with an electric piano that was used to play the wedding march.
