My rating is based on walk-in service I received; no product was created due to my poor experience…read more I needed a press release printed and framed. This would be a small job, so perhaps I wasn't worth their time. I walked in, and there was no one in the front. I loudly said, "hello?" and a gentleman came around the corner. He was pleasant enough, but after I explained the product I was looking to purchase, for some odd reason he couldn't help me and asked me to wait, that he would get someone. So I waited - mind you I'm the only one in the place and there were several voices in the back. Two women came to the front to help me, asked me what I was looking for. I said, "I'm looking to get a press release framed." Their immediate response was, "We don't do that." When behind them on a wall there were plenty of frames. I said, "Well, it's a typical size print..." this is when she started cutting me off, "No - we don't do anything like that." Once more, I tried to tell her what I was doing, "Just a framed document to look professional to hang in an off- " "No - we don't do that." I finally said, "Ok - but can you please let me finish my sentence and explain what I need before you abruptly tell me no?" I pointed to the wall behind her and said, "What about all of these frames? Did you do these?" "Oh, yeah, we did these. Is this what you're looking for?" I explained in more detail what I needed (she actually let me speak) then we started chatting about it. I asked her for a quote printed out, and she said no we don't really have anything to print. So she wrote it down on a sticky note. Just, wow. The level of at which I was treated unprofessionally was insane. Granted, this was a one-off project. However, it would have been kinder to allow me to explain what I needed, then tell me they have a purchase minimum, and that would be that. It was obvious this business has made so much money they don't need new clients. I would advise against going here, unless you appreciate being treated as if you don't matter.

RUN...DO NOT WALK…read more Do not engage with this company. It seems to me they have lost some revenue/projects/people recently and are now resorting to extortion of their own clients (US) to help pay the bills. The remaining developers and engagement managers do not have the skillset to get the project done. Simple API development take 2-3 months to complete. They somehow believe they can turn a "project-based" cost to "time & material". They do not estimate projects correctly and when it takes too long they blame it on the client (US). I was recently trying to negotiate with their CEO (Nikhil) about transitioning the codebase to another company and then we make a final payment for what we owed them - they simply refused to do so and wanted to charged me for work that their team hasn't performed. At one point we had to stop the project they tried to charge a project re-initiation fee. I was able to get the fee lowered ($1,875) and to be paid at the end of the project (see screenshot) but now the CEO is trying to walk back that agreement and wants a $6,250 fee to restart. I'm guessing money is tight? Next Nikhil complained that " $16000 worth of the extra work on Layer - 2 which is never agreed on in any agreement." The original estimate was $7,200 and last I checked this is a project-based estimate. As a US startup company, we thought that we could trust Apptunix to be our development/technical partners. But they have since lied to us numerous times, failed to deliver, failed to capture requirements and just go weeks after weeks without significant progress. I had no choice but to ask for the code to be released so that I can work with a new vendor. As I am finding now they are trying to hold my software and code hostage. Even now their CEO even stated in the email that the "$1,875" was to be paid at the end of the project - not a "limited time offer" as he's trying to backtrack on prior agreement. As evidenced by message from Reena that management [Nikhil] was okay with prior proposal. I am looking into a potential CLASS ACTION lawsuit so if any one who has scammed by this company -please reach out to me at tim (at) payxusa (dot) com

If I could give negative stars, I would…read more DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR SCAM! I hired Apptunix to work on my app. Andy, their sales guy, offered me a trial period after I told them that another company offered me that. We agreed to terms of the trial period and also for after the trial period, if we were to move forward. For the first week, they were great. When I messaged, Andy messaged back. When I called, Andy answered. Their developer, Reena, seemed to be working hard during our hours... but as soon as I agreed to move forward with them and paid them the deposit, it was so hard to get in touch with any of them. Andy said he'd be moving off the project and handing it over to their project manager, Deepanshu. I asked Andy, 'Does he communicate as well as you?' and Andy's response was, 'he's even better'. However, right away this was not the case. I tried to call Andy, he didn't answer. I tried to call Deepanshu via slack (because he didn't have a number that he was willing to give me even though I asked several times) and he didn't answer. I'd message Reena, Andy, and Deepanshu, and they wouldn't answer without me writing several times. We were finally able to get their CEO, Nikhil Bansal, on the phone after demanding it several times. He had no interest in speaking with me (who is an equal co-founder of the company and the head of operations... but I'm a woman). He insisted he speak with my male counterpart. Nikhil promised to push the code per our instructions (very standard practices) the very next day. Guess what, the very next day we had nothing. Then it was the weekend and they don't respond during that time so come Monday, still nothing. Tuesday, nothing. It was ridiculous. Also, they changed the terms of our agreements! One of the biggest points of our agreement was that their developer worked during our office hours. After we sent them the funds, they refused saying we have to trust them to get the job done. They said that if the work wasn't getting done, they could have their developer work into our time zone by a couple hours, twice a week, but we had to make adjustments to our schedule, as well. After a week of them not being able to accomplish anything (I had to give them the same note over 7 times (and it was a picture of an icon, super simple, saying, 'do this exactly' basically) and they still couldn't complete it!), they still refused to have their developer work during even the adjusted time (I was going to work at 5:30am to accommodate them). First, I'm the client. Second, we signed a contract. But what do they care? We paid them over $2500 and we have nothing for it. They have our money and they refused to refund any of it. We tried to cancel the contract right after we noticed something was amiss after we sent the funds. They wouldn't give us anything back. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! They'll give you a reference that they've apparently worked with for a long time but beware! It's all a scam!! They'll do whatever it takes to get you to send the first deposit and then they will miss every deadline, they'll give you unusable crap code, and they will be a nightmare to work with and they will never refund your money. If you want to contact me, I'm happy to provide detailed documents of everything. I hope no one else falls into their trap. It's so hard for a start-up. Money and time are the most valuable and they wasted both of those. Do not hire them!!! They operate under Nikhil's name, Andy's name, Deepak Sharma. Please, PLEASE think again. We don't want anyone else to experience what happened to us. They are liars and con-men. BEWARE and STAY AWAY from APPTUNIX.

He made our website so much more functional quickly and efficiently and at a great price. With every request to add a new feature Ryan was always there to help. He is very reliable and does great work. My other company then used Ryan to redo our Corp website to make it more current. And again he did a fantastic job with the design and implementation of all the features and functions we needed. I would recommend him anytime to anyone whether its a small company with a limited budget or a large company that needed a new site with more functionality. Talented, reliable and professional. You can't go wrong with Ryan. If there were 10 stars I would certainly give it to them.

I was desperately in the market of finding a miracle worker to revamp my poorly done website. Little did I know I was about to embark an an amazing working relationship with a truly great local business. I had a lunch meeting with Ryan and discussed my future plans and hopes for the inner workings of the company. He didn't miss a beat and right away had some great ideas. We made a plan of action, discussed pricing and he got right to work. This company is one of those rare gems that under promises and over delivers. I did not expect the quality of work that was to come nor the ingenious ideas Ryan had along the way. He did what he said he was going to do and then took it a step beyond. Pepck will be the only company I use for all my future web and marketing needs. There's no need to look any further. I'm convinced there is no other company in town that can provide the range of services and quality of work that Ryan offers. He is a magician! Stop reading my post and call him right away, you won't regret it.
