Took 2 cars in for full service oil change and clearly there was no "lube" part of their "Lube-Oil-Filter" service as even my door hinges still squeaked. Had a bearing seize on my boat trailer causing the wheel hub to snap. Out of state, 250 miles from home and the tow driver suggested Dave &Dean's. Towed there and sat in their lot for 4 days with absolutely nothing done after I was in their office explaining the situation. I stayed in Minocqua 2 extra days and both times going into their office they had no idea if why I was there, this is after talking with them twice, in person. Zero, I mean zero customer service. Finally I had to leave and return home, again 250 miles away, and a phone call was made and again they had no idea of my trailer, boat or what was wrong. Zero, zero, zero customer service. Finally I had to have it towed to Otto Trailer Repair in Eagle River where it was repaired in 2 days. I dealt with ignorant owner and staff at Dave & Dean's. Dave and Dean's created a great experience! I needed three tires for a boat trailer, two for the trailer and one for the spare. Not only did they have them in stock but they were $30 less (each tire) than the local Marine shops. They were done in 15 mins! Added personal touch, they found a nut to replace the missing one my spare mounts to the trailer with. Top shelf service! read more

I am up in the Northwoods of Wisconsin on a Thursday with temperature of -19, truck barely running and no heat. Both Ford dealers in area could not even look at it until Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. Dealership in Eagle River referred me to Dave & Dean's in Minocqua. Above and beyond service at Dave and Dean's! While vacationing in St Germain we needed new rear brakes. It was a Saturday and Labor Day weekend to boot..not looking good for us. Luckily a friend had recommended Dave and Dean's, and they were able to get us in. The mechanics worked like crazy to take care of all the last minute vacationers that came in with car trouble. If they couldn't help, they went out of their way to recommend and call other shops. They truly care about their customers. They get points for trying and being courteous but they put me in danger and cost me a lot of time and money with slow, poorly done work! What should have been quick work took 7 days plus 7 more. Upon pickup, I found the work was incomplete & unsafe. After they redid their work, I almost left with no brake fluid (part of the work was new brakes). Once home, I spent an hour removing grease that covered my alloy wheels. They gave many poor excuses. To me, there just seems to be little attention to detail or quality. They need to rethink how they run their business as I've heard their work is trending down. I will not be returning and I suggest using one of the other shops nearby. read more

These guys really helped me out. The brakes of my truck went out on my way to a camp in Boulder Junction. They gave me a loaner car so I could get to camp on time. The next day we decided the repair was under warranty and I took it to the dealership. They never charged me for the loaner and were ever so helpful. Good people. read more

I have taken my car to Dave and Dean's twice now in the past couple of weeks. Both times I was warmly greeted when I arrived and quickly asked how they could be of help. I needed both tire work and an oil change. It was a quick turnaround and the prices were very reasonable. The waiting room is tidy and clean with a tv and a variety of good and recent magazines. While on vacation in Boulder Junction I had a flat tire. Stopped by Dave & Dean's to get my tire repaired, but it had a tear (beyond repair). They didn't have the tire size replacement needed for my Toyota, but were nice enough to check my other tires and the tire pressure in all of them.
