Smith and May offered us 10% off a whole new system, and we were unimpressed with the way they handled the whole catastrophe. We switched companies and purchased a Renai heater. More recently, we set up a service appointment for our two propane fireplaces, and let them know beforehand about a particular part we knew needed to be replaced. We waited about a month for the appointment, and finally at the end of the day, we called to ask why the service person had not appeared. We were told that he did not come because they did not have the part we had asked about one month before. We asked to have the owner call us, but we never heard from him. Needless to say, we have found another company to assist us with our heating service needs. Not recommended.

I received incorrect chairs which were very expensive. The back cushions were wrong and the measurements were incorrect. She claims the were correct although any and all correspondence say otherwise. She will not make it right, I have not received my sofa. My feeling is she did not confirm with the design house that they got corrections since both things were wrong on the chairs and the sofa. Hoping to not have to change the cushions, she responded that the style I wanted was not graceful. Insulting client, bad form.
