I hired Dave's Electric to inspect my DIY portable generator installation. Dave arrived early and went to work right away. He removed the panel box cover and checked for safety and code violations. Checked the legs on the plug receptacle then he had me start the generator and he checked both legs at the panel while the gen supported the load. He offered one suggestion I will need to check with the city as a possible requirement for this area otherwise everything looked good.
