I got a dreadful call at 4:45pm on a Friday afternoon to find out that my tenant's apartment was flooding due to a water pipe breaking. I immediately called Dave Nugent's office to figure out what to do next. With water damage, immediate response is key to minimizing impact and certainly in this case the faster I could get the incident behind me meant the faster I could get my tenant back in her home. I cannot say enough about how much Dave, Sate Farm and all the team members turned an accidental "disaster" into a very positive experience.... not only in the business of getting the right organizations to work togthger in a timely fashion, but even personal heartfelt caring check ins along the way to make sure everything was going alright. Hey, no one wants their house flooded, but if it is going to happen, it is nice to know people grab each other by the hand to lift each other up to clean up and move past the mess to return life back to normal as quickly as possible. My hubby and I have had State Farm for a while and though we trusted in this company, it really wasn't relevant to me till just recently how AWESOME they are. Our truck was hit/damaged due to a high speed chase while it was parked. I was at work and 5 months pregnant and not in the mood to deal with what I thought was going to be horrific process. I was SO WRONG! State Farm stepped in taking care of everything! In their prompt response they had a rental ready for us that same DAY! and in ONE week we had our check in our hands (because our vehicle was a total loss) and the young lady at the office even stayed after hours to wait for me to get off work and pick up the check. We have had auto and property policies with David since 2004. Happily we haven't had many claims but recently I damaged the back of my pickup when backing up a trailer. It happened on a weekend and by Monday David had the claim under way. They allowed me to choose the body shop and by that afternoon we had an estimate and an appointment for repairs. State Farm made all the arrangements for a rental car which was near the repair shop. I picked up my truck yesterday and the repairs were perfect. They also allowed me to leave the rental car at the repair shop. I'm impressed not only by their communications but by their efficiency and professionalism as well. I highly recommend David Nugent and State Farm. I'll be their customer as long as they'll have me. read more

In today's economy, the concept of rising prices is easy to understand, with eggs, gas, groceries, and insurance all reaching record highs--just one of the challenges of living in California. Despite this turmoil, one thing that should remain free is kindness and understanding. Unfortunately, that wasn't the service I received, even as a long-time customer at Dave Nugent's office. When I spoke with Sarah, I found her attitude to be condescending and impatient. While I'm considering switching my insurance, it honestly feels like it might be trading one problem for another. I would suggest retraining, as it seems Sarah struggles to handle high-pressure situations effectively. read more

I was with another insurance company for 15 years running and didnt think anyone could ever make me change my mind but Dave and Amanda did SUCH an amazing job showing me where they could save me money by giving me exactly the coverage I needed without all the extra fluff I was being charged for with my other company. There are a whole bunch of SF agents in the area... but NONE of them as cool as this fellows shop. All the employees there know how to treat the customer. I was with another local agent and then heard how great this office was in taking care of business, so I decided to transfer all by coverage to be handled by Mr. Nugent's terrific staff. We've been with State Farm for at least 20 years. We started out in Stockton then bought a home in Lodi till the kids grew up and out. We currently live in Woodbridge. Dave's office in the Woodlake Plaza is so nice and close if we ever need to go in. Having 2 sons we've needed our share of help in the Insurance Dept. Christine has always been there for us. Amazing customer service from Samuel Rodriguez! Whenever I have questions about my auto policy or about rate increases I just give him a call and he always provides me with an answer right away. He is always trying to find me discounts that have greatly decreased my monthly bill and he's helped me better understand my coverage.
