The service and experience here was amazing!! The woman greeted us immediately after walking in and was happily explaining everything to my mom and I since it was our first time there. All of their Paletas are made fresh daily and the flavors range from chocolate to fruit with so many variations to choose from. After choosing your flavor, you move down to the dipping station where you choose various chocolates or caramel to either dip your Paleta in or drizzle on top. Following this station you choose the actual toppings (as you could tell rainbow sprinkles are my favorite) and I felt like a little kid in a candy store with this. 10/10 recommend! read more

Stumbling upon the Shelton store was the happiest of accidents. We walked in to the bubbliest girl you could hope for. She was more than happy to explain everything in front of us and all of the flavors. I picked the passion fruit and my fiancé had the chocolate peanut butter. We are still in debate about who had the better treat (team me for sure)! After picking our pops we moved down the line to the dipping station. They had white chocolate, milk chocolate, their own version on Nutella, cookie butter, and fluff. I picked the fluff and then she asked if I wanted it toasted....ummm ABSOLUTELY. After adding toppings (strawberry crunch and pistachio) and she suggested a drizzle to stick the toppings...again....YES. The cookie butter drizzle was the way to go. I am a huge fan of both Paletas and Dave's, which as far as I know, first brought Gourmet Paletas to CT in a widely available way. I've reviewed the Fairfield Dave's and I suspect, knowing how I love Paletas, I went on and on. So see that review if you're Jonesing for more Jason P Paletas content. Think of Paletas as gourmet popsicles or ice cream novelty pops. Dave's sells fruity and acidic Paletas, and ones that are more similar to ice cream flavors. Dave's will deck them out for you with sauces, candies, and other accoutrements. I like the fruit kind and appreciate the sweet acidity. I got raspberry limeade and it was outstanding. This is my first time trying this location and it was as good as the other location. I tried a new flavor combination this time and was extremely impressed. I had the sea salt Carmel pop drizzled with chocolate and cookie butter then sprinkled with the chocolate and vanilla chip combo. BEST COMBO EVER. read more

Hands down this satisfies my craving for a sweet, or ice cream. The staff is always so friendly. They are always coming out with new seasonal flavors to try. I love that they are open all year. My favorite is the pumkin (seasonal) with a full butter cookie dip, a carmel drizzle, and graham cracker on top. It's heaven! I also love the sea salt Carmel and the Nutella banana. Love this place. We have been to the Fairfield location a few times and we're glad to see the Shelton location which is much closer to us had opened up. Excellent and truly gourmet popsicles. I went with my two boys one afternoon and was immediately greeted by the girl working there. She asked if it was our first time (it was) and explained everything about what was offered. She was super helpful, especially in offering her own suggestions. After ordering and paying we sat and enjoyed our paletas. They were so good and none of us could finish!
