go to daves auto repair if you wanna lose your money they charge absolutely ridiculous prices for parts that aren't even the things i needed to look at i only wanted to know why and what is causing the overheating issue on my car and causing it to go limp mode and they said it'd be 1,899 for a water pump and hose replacement i denied the whole service and paid 150 for the inspection fee and repaired the car myself and it works great now but genuinely saying "it needs to be road safe" to charge that much for 3-4 other things that aren't critical to change but are suggested to make more money off me is honestly ridiculous read more

They were excellent and very thorough. Even though not every issue could be fixed right away, they explained future maintenance needs so I wouldn't be caught off guard. So I should've read the reviews first. One review states if you're a woman and don't know much about vehicles, don't come here. I went in to get tires for my truck. I had them do an oil change and just check everything out. They told me I needed several times. I called my mechanic back home, since I was out of state, and he said to wait. They said I needed a rear differential cover to give you one specific example. Stated it was cracked and leaking. They wanted to remove the cover and reseal with a new one for $1k!! I have all the quotes and paperwork still for proof. My mechanic looked at it and said there is no leak and no issue. This company is a prime example of men taking advantage of woman. A great way to set the example of being stuck in the past and not trying to do better as men. read more

If you're a woman who doesn't know anything about cars, don't go here, especially alone. They tried to take thousands of dollars from me (over $2,500) claiming I needed several repairs and not just the break pads like i originally needed. Thank god i didn't have the money and went to someone else for a second opinion. Turns out it was just my brake pads that needed replaced and these guys tried to charge me for so much more. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and have been driving for over a week and there have been no other problems with my car, I'm truly disappointed in this place for lying to me and trying to scam me. We were in town from Houston visiting my parents and our minivan was pretty much due for a timing belt replacement. I was going to wait until we got back to TX but still wanted to stop in and say hi to Dave. When I mentioned the van, he told me he had the perfect guy for the job and fit me in the schedule the next morning. We got our van back in great time, and we got back to TX on schedule with a new, top-notch timing belt kit including a water pump, new serpentine belt and a new OEM alternator. Dave's auto repair is the best auto mechanic I have been to. The prices is more than fair, the customer service is great and their quick turn around time is amazing. I drive a Toyota RAV4 2014. It needed an oil change and I wanted to do it myself to save some money. This rav4 ( most Toyota ) has a oil filter casing where the filter seats in The previous people that did the oil change torqued the Casing On there so tight that I had to purchase several tools to try and get the casing off. One of those tools I bought was a 500lb torque impact($130) wrench. That impact wrench could not get the casing off. It actually crack the casing. At that I gave up and sealed the crack with jb welds epoxy. The next day I heard About Dave's auto repair and heard great things. So I called and spoke to Griffin. At first he wanted set it up by appointment because How i explained my issues sounded more complex. But He called me back in 10 minutes and said he now understood what I meant. He then told me to bring it in and he can work on removing the casing and putting a new casing on right there on the spot. Next day I brought my rav4 in and It took about l one hour for the entire repair including extras that was needed. I was very surprised on how quick they turned my car around. the cost was more than fair. I thought it should have been more. I could not thank Dave's auto repair and his enough in how they took care of me in the short amount of time. Most places I been too would have told me to just drop the car off. Dave's Auto Repair just bought my service needs and I will keep coming back for any repairs on my vehicles. I will also spread the word just like my friends told me. I am a big fan of these guys and highly recommend them. I was first introduced to Dave's Auto Repair four years ago by my relatives who live in the Goshen area (I live on the East Coast). My relatives are mechanically minded and generally fix their own vehicles, so I was impressed that they enthusiastically recommended Dave's as the place they go to for difficult issues. My first experience with Dave's four years ago was so good that I have returned three times when I had problems with my SUV. I will actually allow more time during my visits to my family in central Indiana to drive up to Goshen and use Dave's Auto Repair (if the repair is complicated they can provide you with a loaner vehicle at no cost). Each time the guys spent time carefully listening to my description of the problem, running thorough checks and analysis (generally at no cost), and then recommending prioritized solutions based on my budget and preferences. I recently returned to Goshen from NY and had developed a serious issue with my front wheels and brakes. Despite a full schedule and waiting list, Dave and the guys re-arranged their schedule to fit me in the same day, ran full diagnostics and tests, called all around in order to find some necessary parts, and found a way to re-configure and repair an existing part in order to save me hundreds of dollars. We took our 2010 Toyota Venza to another mechanic in Goshen when we began hearing grinding noises from the rear end of our vehicle. This mechanic was never able to hear the noise when he drove it, let alone diagnose what was causing it. We then took the car to Dave's and his guys were able to diagnose the problem immediately - the rear transaxle was bad. As to be expected, this was a pricey repair, but Dave's got the job done in a timely fashion and let us use one of their loaner cars while the repair was being made. After some other tuneups, our car runs like new now. The staff is friendly and did their best to answer all our questions. I would recommend Dave's to anyone! read more
