I went in for a trim and to even out a few choppy layers. Left with half my hair missing and an even choppier more uneven haircut than before. A different stylist "fixed" it but it's still incredibly uneven. Just go to Eugene if you want a real haircut. read more

I've been to this salon about five times in the last several years because they come highly recommended but my hair has almost always came out wrong and this last time was the absolute worst. I've seen better results at the beauty schools. I went in for highlight touch ups and I did have a good amount of grow out but omg it looks terrible. The blonde doesn't match my old blonde. It's all brassy and yellow. They tried toning it for way too long to try and fix it but all it did was make my pretty bright blonde from before look silver which made the yellow blonde stand out way more. And it dried my hair out pretty bad. There's lines all over and two random chunks of dark hair that never got touched on each side right in the middle of my head. I absolutely hate it! read more

Dave's place...I had my hair trimmed,washed,colored,set, at dave's on November 15th..the girl that did it was new and she did a lousy job.she cut my hair to short.it was only supposed to be trimmed.. the color is much darker then I wanted..she said it would fade after washing...it didn't fade... the cut is the worst ever.. it looks.. choppy i'm just very unhappy about It..i won't go back read more

I wish that I could give this place less than one star but unfortunately I have to give them something. This place has the absolute worst customer service that I have ever experienced from a hairstylist not only was I turned away because of the fact that I have blond hair that has been treated with bleach in the past but to insinuate that my regular hairstylist used anything but regular hair dye is insulting. The stylist that they had booked me with claimed that he was just hired and that he doesn't know how to deal with my kind of hair. I will never go back to them! read more

Daves Place is amazing! I have been a client for years, with amazing results every time. The booking process is seamless, especially with the text message reminder. The products they use for me, keep my hair healthy, shiny, and long even though I have to cover my gray every four weeks with blonde highlights and color overall. I have long fine hair and the care given to me is exceptional so that I can maintain my length, which I am grateful for. I would never dream of going elsewhere or changing salons ever. Their full staff offers everything for nails, face, waxing and hair and the salon is very clean, and up to date. They also sell product that makes it nice to not have to drive out of town to find plus a great selection only available for fine salons. The pricing is very reasonable, and better than most in Eugene for such a nice salon. I would have to say this one of the best salons in Cottage Grove. read more

I go here for my hair / brow wax and have for almost 2 years, Melanie does both. She is friendly, thorough and always gives 100%. She is great with color, full or partial weaves. Her brow waxes are on spot on. She has late hours to help fit your schedule. Very nice salon, everyone is friendly and several stylist are available. I will be a long term customer and would highly recommend to anyone / everyone. read more

Great place with top notch staff. I only work with David and I'm very pleased with my curls. He encourages me to keep up with my hair and I need that. I've been growing my hair out for what feels like years now and he's the first stylist to tell me that I don't need to cut every color. I highly recommend Dave's Place. Staff is always so friendly and helpful. Esthetician Amber Miller is amazing! Was having a hard time finding a good Esthetician to wax my brows , until I found Amber! She does an amazing job everytime! After couple appointments she suggested brow tinting, I was nervous at first but Amber did such a good job! My brows were so blond you couldn't see them. Now you can but it looks natural. Now every month I do both! Highly recommend brow tint and Amber! read more
