There was quite a crowd for a Thursday night, in a small out of the way watering hole.
Music softly in the background, multiple big screen tv's airing different sporting events. The sound of pool balls hitting, bells of a vintage pin ball machine. If you step out back onto the nice deck you are front and center to a serious, but friendly game of sand volleyball. Nice variety of entertainment hidden behind the indescrepant exterior.
Greeted with a warm hello from the bartender, we waited just a moment for our beers, which were perfectly cold. The menu is typical offering of bars; appetizers, pizza, burgers and wings. Yet also offered a salad and a chicken taco.
The service was excellent, considering the very small staff in ratio to the people. The kitchen was busy. Locals streamed in picking up carry out pizzas and food for quick dinners at home. Families came in to sit down and enjoy a casual dinner out.
Our food arrived before we expected and our pizza was steaming and looked and smelled wonderful. It tasted just as good. Thin crisp crust, not a hint of burn nor gummy undercooked crust. Tons of toppings, loaded with cheese, it was definitely a pizza I would come back for.
Small town. Friendly folks. Cold beer. Excellent pizza. Worth the trip. read more
