One of the cheapest trophy places around (or maybe I'm not looking that hard) with good quality. We were going trophy shopping with places around the San Gabriel Valley area. We stopped by four places, including Dave's, in different cities and found that all of the places seem to have the same 'generic' look for medals, trophies, etc. The other three stores had average prices of $10-$20 for an average 5" by 7" -ish black plaque. Dave's sold their's for less than $8 with engraving. So you could see the money we saved on getting a bulk order. Another plus side to this place is the welcoming employees when you walked through that door. It wasn't that awkward feeling when you enter a new place but a feeling of comfort. The store is rather small in size but it has a over-than-average variety of trophies. Nothing here stands out from the other trophy places besides the price and welcoming employees. *I also found out that Dave's Trophies is where I got my plaques from elementary and middle school. Have ordered plaques, medals, and trophies for school for more than 10 years or so, and I've never been disappointed! Order early though if it's awards season/end of the school year time! They can get pretty busy, and this year, they needed an extra one day beyond my promised pickup day. Good thing I had a day before I needed the awards. Did not mind this at all since in one particular previous year, I made the mistake of not ordering a plaque for one student. I recently lost a pet suddenly so I was looking for a place that does engraved plaques in her memory. I saw the great reviews here on Yelp so I decided to try my luck with Dave's Trophies. I got to the store half an hour before lunch at noon so I was kind of worried I might have to wait long for the plaque to be made. When I got there, there was plenty of parking in the next door lot and on the street. Dave greeted me when I stepped in. The first thing you notice is they have a LARGE selection of trophies. The showroom has more options of plaques, metal signs, name tags, and other custom machined goods than I've ever seen anywhere. After Dave showed me a few nice plaque options, I went with a black plaque with gold lettering set on an elegant white marble slab. Dave's granddaughter Brianna machined the slab for me and honestly it came out better than the sample I saw in the showroom. It didn't take long at all too, I paid and got back in my car before lunch. I'm so happy with how the plaque came out, Dave's Trophies' craftsmanship is second to none. It's absolutely beautiful and the finish of the marble and metal is amazing. Dave's pricing is very reasonable too! Will definitely be back in the future for fantasy basketball league trophies.
