The office is beautiful and serene, very relaxing and reassuring that this was a top notch practice. The staff was attentive and kind, as if they could feel my apprehention. Dr Heil listened to my every word, answered my questions, and explained the process in detail- prior to the procedure and through recovery. I was given an estimate and said I would "think about it." Well, I just couldn't do it. What would others think of me? How could I function while healing? What "if" something went wrong, etc Fast forward to May 2025- I made another consultation appointment and met w Dr Heil again- this time I was ready! Again, he explained in detail what to expect before, during, and after. We scheduled for December because that was a slow time for me at work and it would be easier for me to stay home during the healing process. Yes I was scared, but I did it, and could not be happier! The photos are taken day 38 after surgery, and it keeps getting better! In addition to removing the appearance of hooded eyes, I can literally see SO much better! The world is brighter and bigger. She was watering plants when I…read morearrived, when she met me at the desk, it was 1 minute past my appointment in which she then told me they cannot see me because I am late. Also note, I have never had a doctor look at my skin here for more than 5 minutes yet they set aside 30 minute appointments... so didn't make much sense. They are also often always behind, I have sat in the waiting room for 20+ minutes past my appointment time before.
