I have had a couple of claims and they were professionally handled. This past March I had hail damage. The first adjuster was somewhat responsive and assured me that they would cover the back of my roof, from corner to corner. A week later he informed me that his "upper management" would not cover it. I was offered less than half my deductible. After my roofer sent pictures and an explanation, they agreed to cover most of the back. So the roof would be visable from the street and it would be obvious that there were two different roofs they agreed to cover most of 40% of the slope in question . They paid by direct deposit part of the claim. I got an email that the second of three payments was rejected by the bank, but they were cutting a check for that payment. Two weeks later I called and it had not been processed. I had the work completed and requested the second and third payment. The "new" adjuster said he would get it approved. Several later I called and finally they are supposedly going to cut a check, sometime. I have worked harder on this claim than the two adjusters, combined.

He said the rate increase was because I was no longer married . He also threatened to increase my homeowners insurance if I took the auto insurance to another company. I switched to State Farm the next day . They were able to provide better coverage for my house and auto for $ 850.00 less @ year . State Farm was professional and compassionate.
