The technician scheduled to perform my procedure left partway through and turned it over to his assistant who botched it. That switch is the source of every problem below. At no point during the procedure was I shown the progress. A patient has no way to verify what is actually being placed, and I do not consider that acceptable. I paid for 1,500 grafts at $5 per graft and did not receive anywhere near that number. The placement is spaced widely enough that I was able to sit down and count what was actually there. My count came to approximately 543. I have also had it looked at outside this clinic, and no one has been able to reconcile what is on my head with 1,500 grafts. The result is also visibly uneven, even noticed by their staff when I went for my follow-up. The hairline was placed using 3 and 4 hair grafts. Single hair grafts belong in the hairline, and anyone practicing in this field knows that. The result reflects it. The work also does not blend into my native hair. There are gaps, the angles are incorrect in places, and it does not integrate with what was already there. When I raised these concerns afterward, I was given a list of excuses. My concerns were dismissed and I was directed back to the paperwork. That has been the most difficult part of this. I now have to wait for everything to heal before any of it can be corrected

My 96 year old father was released from Frederick Health Hospital on 4/3/22. We received a call…read morefrom the hospital on 4/4/22 advising us to consult his Parkview provider regarding two of the prescriptions that he was sent home with from the hospital. I left a message with Parkview for a call back-a nurse returned my call and said that she would forward my message to the provider-two more messages from me and a week later still no call from the provider or even a nurse. My dad is now back in hospital and I reported the issue today after which I received a call back from someone who did not identify her position but told me since my dad is in the hospital I need to work with the hospital on his prescriptions. To which I responded "your a week late in calling me back-My questions are no longer relavent. A week to return a patient message is absolutely unacceptable. The woman responded "Ok, have a nice day." Avoid this practice at all costs!!!

Have been seeing this medical group for several years, mostly because I haven't taken the time to…read morefind a new primary care center and the location of Parkview is convenient. Although the staff here are friendly, they don't return phone calls and I always wait at least 30-40 minutes beyond my appointment time when I go to see them. They also failed to inform me of several important lab results. Even though I have been a patient for a long time, they always treat me as though I'm a brand new patient that they know nothing about. It would behoove them to at least open my medical chart and glance at my basic stats before entering the room to see me. Overall, I think I need to take the time to find a physician willing to do his/ her due diligence in my medical care.

I have a respiratory infecion like I've had many times before. I usually go to my primary care…read moredoctor, tell him my symptoms, and he prescribes a z-pac and it clears up in a day. I couldn't get in to see him (2 days before Christmas) so I went to express care. The guy wouldn't listen to me, said he wouldn't prescribe anti-biotics because it's viral. Next day I'm coughing up a constant stream of dark phlem - the usual bacterial infection. Now I'll have to go to the ER and hope I get treated by someone competent there, or spend Christmas in bed coughing my lungs out.

Now, having said that, I found the staff in the Mount Airy office to be pleasant and helpful I had some issues with my insurance card, but it was cleared up and staff worked with me efficiently. As for the physician; she was competent and friendly and she listened to my concerns with relevant, helpful suggestions. I see these other very bad reviews and I am so thankful that I did not have that experience at all.

She took a lot of time to listen to the history of my condition, what tests had been done so far, and what various doctors have found (or not). Everyone on staff are extremely friendly, and seem completely dedicated and committed to a good patient experience. The wait time before the appointment is minimal, and usually only a few minutes, if that. They are busy, but extremely efficient, and I've never felt like I have been lost or forgotten about in the shuffle. They even remember specific unique needs that each patient has to be as comfortable as they can during their session. I have a very complicated issue that still has no specific diagnosis. I know that makes any physical therapist's job significantly more difficult. However, Hali is clearly committed to helping me, and always offers excellent advice and recommendations for following up on my medical issue with the various doctors I've been seeing. She has never given up on me, even though I know some doctors have. I have noticed she provides the same exceptional level of care to other patients in the room too. From my observations, everyone in the office who interacts directly with the patients are patient, caring, focused committed to helping their patients get better. I am extremely impressed with Pivot Physical Therapy in Mount Airy, MD, and I highly recommend them if you need them!

To my surprise, physical therapy really helped me stretch and strengthen my tendons and muscles and I'm back to being active again. Highly recommended.
