I had laparoscopic surgery with her and when struggling months later due to pain in the incision areas she did not wish to examine me or order me proper imaging of my stomach saying this is out of her wheel house she cannot interpret it, even though she cut me open in my stomach so why are you cutting people open if you are unfamiliar with the stomach area?. She offered me no remedy or help although the issues were from her surgery . I have talked to other previous patients that have been dismissed after having pain after surgery, one who told me they were left in tears and she basically told them to leave the office. This patient claims they then had a procedure with another surgeon who found more endometriosis afterwards. If you would like to see this doctor as your surgeon and have no issues, you may be fine. However, once you have your procedure if you have any issues know that she is done with you- patients to her are just numbers and she's chasing her next surgery not making sure everything is OK with the surgeries She's already done.

After the consultation with him and interacting with the staff, my husband and I trusted him to help us on our fertility journey. Dr. Sharara is very knowledgeable and an expert in the field, which made me feel comfortable and confident in putting our trust in him. I appreciated that he did a very thorough and comprehensive diagnostic work up to figure out the best treatment plan. As someone who is also in the healthcare field, I very much appreciate having more data. The nurses (Ava and Jessica), billing coordinator (Trish), and other staff (Maggie) were also wonderful. Compared to the brief experience that I had with a large fertility clinic, VCRM felt like a white glove service. I graduated this week from the clinic at eight and a half weeks pregnant and am incredibly grateful to Dr. Sharara and the entire VCRM team for their guidance, care, and support. I know that I'm very lucky to have only had to do one round of IVF and for the first transfer to be successful. I have tried first appointment in the morning, last of the day, right before and after lunch. This has been a problem for the 5+ years I have been a patient. If they cannot handle their volume they should be truthful- I would happily reschedule if you are overbooked. My last appointment was for a potentially serious issue. After 80 minutes (that does not count me being 15 min early), I got the most cursory of physical exams, and a shoulder shrug and a very dismissive line about a now confirmed (by another doctor) serious issue. There is no one there worth putting up with the inefficiencies of this office, and the cavalier attitude I got just sealed that deal. Look elsewhere for routine gyn care.

They don't remember anything from prior visits, there's barely any follow-through & everything feels rushed & impersonal. Now, they've added insult to injury by announcing that they're going to start charging patients for basic services--things we can't even do ourselves. Even something as simple as a prescription refill feels like you're bothering the nurse or PA. It's crystal clear: they don't care about patient well-being anymore, they just care about squeezing more money out of you. And to top it all off, they had the nerve to send out this email announcing the new fees--while shamelessly promoting their extra services at the bottom. Instead they charged it as a diagnostic, not as prenatal care then proceed to tell me afterward they don't code insurance for prenatal because they don't don prenatal care and then charge a few hundred dollars. Why on earth allow the patient to think they are coming for prenatal care when they don't offer it. It's an absolute scam on their end and their office should be flagged for that. Their doctors are fine, but beware of all the billing issues and surprises. Unethical coding practices.
