I initially visited World Famous Dermatology a few years ago and attended several appointments before discontinuing care. My experience at that time felt very sales-driven, with heavy emphasis on expensive treatments, facials, peels, and multiple topical products. Despite spending a significant amount of money, I did not notice much improvement in my skin, which ultimately led me to stop going. In March 2026, I decided to give the practice another opportunity after being referred by a colleague who had a positive experience with Dr. Harper while undergoing Accutane treatment. During my first appointment with Dr. Harper, things started off well. She evaluated my skin, ordered lab work, discussed a treatment plan, and began the process for Accutane enrollment and paperwork. I also purchased prescribed medications from the pharmacy, spending over $200 in addition to my copay. At my second appointment in April 2026, I waited over an hour to be seen. Although I had scheduled with Dr. Harper, I was unexpectedly seen by Dr. Bryant instead. During the appointment, Dr. Bryant appeared to reference records from my visits years ago, and I had to remind him that I had just been seen the previous month by Dr. Harper to begin the Accutane process. I was under the impression that, since my lab work and required paperwork had already been completed and I had started contraceptives as instructed, I would be starting Accutane at that visit. During the discussion, I also had to remind the staff that I had not yet taken the required pregnancy test. After the test was completed, I was told my Accutane prescription had been sent and that I could pick it up that same day. After paying my copay and leaving, I received a phone call stating that there was an issue with my paperwork and that the Accutane process had not been entered correctly. I was then informed I would have to wait another 30 days to restart the process due to the error. At my most recent visit on May 13, I was again scheduled with Dr. Harper but was instead seen by Dr. Bryant. By this point, I was already frustrated due to the previous issues and specifically wanted continuity of care with the physician I originally returned to see. During the appointment, I was once again told there were problems with my Accutane paperwork. I overheard staff in the back discussing that my information had not been processed correctly, my March lab work had not been reviewed, and that I would need to wait yet another 30 days before treatment could proceed. The repeated confusion surrounding my records, lab work, and Accutane enrollment process made the entire experience feel extremely disorganized. What was most disappointing was the lack of communication and accountability. At no point did a physician come speak with me directly to clarify the situation, review the errors, or attempt to resolve the concerns after multiple delays. A simple conversation and better organization could have helped restore confidence and possibly kept me as a patient. Financially, I paid: * First visit: $75 copay plus approximately $250 in prescriptions * Second visit: $75 copay plus $60 for a dark spot treatment * Third visit: expected $75 copay, with the only service provided being a pregnancy test and notice of another delay Overall, my experience was frustrating due to repeated administrative errors, lack of communication, and poor continuity of care during what should have been a straightforward Accutane enrollment process. read more

I'm not one to slander a business, I really wanted to like this place despite the almost unanimous bad reviews. I went ahead and gave them the benefit of the doubt after reading tons of bad reviews. That's my first mistake. So I've been looking for a black dermatologist for an issue with my scalp. I suspected what my condition was and I just wanted confirmation and to begin treatment. This is not a simple case of acne. I decided to go here solely based on the fact that they are open on Saturdays, so I didn't have to take off work. That's my second mistake. I arrived to my appointment and the front desk staff were friendly and wearing masks (can't say the same about the provider). I check in, wait a few minutes, and I'm called backed. When I made the appointment, I requested to see the doctor, not the PA, because again, this is not a case of acne. So I'm surprised when the PA comes in. Even more surprised at the fact that she was not wearing a mask in the middle of a pandemic. She barely peers in my head for a fraction of a second and gives a diagnosis and prescribed a few things. This diagnosis did not seem correct to me but I decided to try the treatment for a month. The provider was not friendly or empathetic. She lacked all the qualities necessary for good bedside manner. She told me to return in a month for follow-up. This whole interaction lasted about 2 minutes. After completing the month of treatment I sought out a new dermatologist. I've now received the correct diagnosis consistent with what I suspected and am on an appropriate treatment plan for my condition. I decided to write this review after seeing the new dermatologist and how an appointment should go. I'm very happy with my new dermatologist and will not be returning to 'World's Famous Dermatologist'. Would definitely not recommend this place for any dermatological conditions. This office is more of a "sales office" meaning they won't do any exams of the skin and will push you to purchase expensive products by them. They also will advise you that you need a test that your insurance won't cover(they do not verify this with insurance). All in all the visit was a waste of time and money. How do you make a recommendation without looking at the skin/location with the issue and give out a prescription in under 5 minutes?? THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Their communication sucks and they are money hungry with no remorse! Their front desk girl never informed me of how much I would have to pay and she knew she messed up because she mentioned it as I was leaving. I told them what type of insurance I had and no mention of payment amount was made. The doctor was robot like. No emotion didn't even look me in my face directly. He asked questions as if he wanted me to diagnose myself. He was in the room for less than 2 mins then he was on to the next like he just shows his face to collect the money smh. A true mess! I want to first start by saying I actually loved Dr. Bryant. He was amazing and very detailed. He explained by sons cyst removal perfectly and made me feel at ease. The experience with him was awesome!! Now... as for his office staff that leaves a little more to be desired! I am a professional myself and there are just right and wrong ways to speak to ppl. His office manager at the Stockbridge location does NOT listen to understand she listens to reply. I just needed a simple note or letter from the Dr explaining that the cyst removal was at his recommendation. That is it! She refused and said it was our decision which it was however if she had taken the time to actually hear what I was saying she would have understood. To Dr Bryant if you see this Thank you for being amazing, but you might need to rethink your office staff choices if they refuse to just actually listen to a patient! Not just a customer but a patient!!! A simple letter just stating why the cyst removal was needed! That's all that was needed! Instead I was treated like crap and brushed off! I just got a robocall saying that he was back in buisness. Don't go there. I went a couple years ago to get rid of acne scars and marks. He prescribed an expensive cream that I had to visit him each time for a refill. The cream expired in like 20 something days.*** First Money Grab***. When I got a rash in the back of my neck I wanted to go to a Dr. that was close to me, so I made an appt at World's Famous Dermotologists. I saw Dr. Nemin . I asked him when he came into the room if he was Dr. Nemin he said yes it's on my shirt,so he asked me why I was there, looked at my neck and not even touching my neck he yup you have SINGLES. So he said he would have the girl call in a script for ths Thank God I refused the allergy test because that was a way to get more money from the insurance company. I was to go back today 10-20-21 and when I called they told me Dr. Bryant was there not Dr. Nemin so I told them no, I have an appt with Dr.Nemin they said again no Dr. Bryant was there. I told them to cancel my appt. My so-called singles went away in a couple of weeks which led me to believe I NEVER had singles just a rash. This so called was a nurse not a Dr.!!! I am not in the habit of writing reviews very often but I feel compelled to do this because we felt the need to share of one of the most upsetting experiences we've ever had at a physician's office, My wife was recommended to Dr. Bryant practice "World's Famous Dermatologist" by her health insurance provider for a simple scalp irritation. On her first appointment she was seen by Dr. Danielle T. Um who was very nice and professional, this was a normal visit with an evaluation and prescription of some ointments & shampoo to be followed up with a second visit. On my wife's second visit is when things went from normal to uncomfortable when my wife first meet Dr. Bryant who introduced himself as the owner of the practice and would be assisting because Dr. Danielle was tied up (first lie since she was available and at the practice) he proceeded to read her chart and after a quick look at her head which took about a minute in all, he pulled out a laminated menu of procedures and test which he was very adamant about selling and pressuring my wife to have done right then and there because it was needed if she wanted to get better (his words), 3 tests which rounded up to $900, my wife felt she was being pressured by the Doctor to have them done that same day while she was there, when my wife asked how much her insurance would cover he quickly replied that she had a $1500 deductible and that the test were not covered but the $900 would go towards the deductible. That was the first red flag, in all my and my wife's 60 years we've never had a doctor tell us what the insurance would approve or how much my deductible was right off the bat without any hesitation, it's been my experience in countless doctor's visits that this is typically handled by one of the nurses or the office manager, not the doctor's. My wife proceeded to have just one of the tests done for $150 because the biopsy makes the most sense but she felt she could not trust doctor Bryant as he was pushing too hard to get her to spend money. after that day we contacted the insurance company who informed us that test were covered 100% after a $20 copay and went on to send us to Labcorp and have them done, when we got to Labcorp they asked for the doctor's order for the needed test, order's which we didn't have but when we called Dr Bryant's practice to get the order they informed us that the test weren't needed because they were recommended not required, we were shocked and dismay when we heard that after Dr Bryant spent the better part of my wife's visit pushing his tests and trying to convince my wife that these tests were an absolute necessity (if she wanted to get better). I guess we should have read the reviews beforehand and we could have avoided this Dr altogether and our waste of time and money. I had an apt with David Bryant, and to say the least it was incredibly odd. He was very pushy with the products he wanted me to buy, he literally took out every cream and cleanser from the cabinet and tried to get me to buy all of it. He was trying to get me to take every lab test, including a chemical peel, and then when I declined-- he takes out a mirror, holds it up to my face and asks if I like how I look and feel I don't need anything. It felt very backwards and like I was being seen by a sales man and not a doctor. Fast forward, 2 months later I get a bill for $11,500!!! with 15+ lab charges, one costing $6,600!? for what you may ask? I ended up calling them and speaking to their billing department and they said if I took any swabs then those were generic lab tests. I didn't take any swabs, and got a revised claim. Good thing i didn't, because he was trying to market the heck out of them. This doctor's office is terrible. Do not go to this doctor! I had an appointment as a new patient on Friday 05/08/09 at 1:05. I arrived at 12:55 and signed in. As of 1:30, I still had not been given my paperwork to fill out as a new patient. The guy behind me in the office said that he had been there since 11:30 and had not been called back yet. At that point, I told the front desk to cancel my appointment. When they asked if I would like to reschedule, I said no, I would not be back to this office because of the wait. On Thursday 06/04/09, I received a call from this office to confirm my appointment for 1:00 on Friday 06/05/09... I DID NOT MAKE THIS APPOINTMENT! Upon having a biopsy sample taken of a rash I had, when the results came back, I was told that I would be charged for the results to be explained to me. No one called as they said they would. Do not go to this dermatologist!!!!! Dr Bryant has removed a skin tag for me years ago at his old location and I really liked him. Then I went back this year and he would not cut a small cyst off my cheek and referred me to a friend who told me over the phone that my insurance wouldn't cover it and he would only charge me 350 cash. Then dr Bryant tried to sell me his acne products which are only 130.00 cash. He was in the room with me for about a total of 5 minutes and couldn't sit still and then he asked the nurse if I was his last appointment for the day. Really ? This is truly one of the most degrading experiences I've ever had at a doctor's office. I had a new patient appointment last week (12/30/13) and ever since that appointment I feel like all I've been trying to do is warn people online to truly not go here. It is true that you wait at least an hour before you're ever seen by the doctor. I personally went up to the desk and had to ask for my new patient paperwork thinking it'd help me along quicker but it did not. When I finally got back, I saw that Dr. Bryant is one of the most unprofessionally dressed doctors I've ever seen. He looked like he was getting ready to go to a freaking church service. He wasn't wearing a coat and didn't bother wearing gloves when examining my skin or blemishes which was truly heinous. I have a total of ONE true mole on my body which was unfortunately visible for this visit. He told me he had concerns about it (which meant he wanted money from me) and asked to just scrape off the top so that it didn't have the possibility of turning into something worse. I didn't know "scrape off the top" meant dig a crater into your skin and have it bleed for three days, so I naively agreed thinking that it's better to be safe than sorry. After digging thoroughly online for more reviews, I found out that apparently he will try to remove any mole from anyone's body just to get money from his patients. Dr. Bryant spent a total of eight minutes in my room before he disappeared. He didn't write me the right prescriptions at ALL after I got a second opinion. The door to the samples closet (literally just a closet) is wide open for anyone to just grab and go. The nurses use the samples closet to sketchily give patients any prescriptions the doctor may have neglected to write when I'm pretty sure that's illegal. This place is just really messed up, and I was truly upset for days after this appointment and still really am. I wish there was some way to just give no stars because that would truly depict my experience at "Dr." Byrant's office. And in case I'm perceived as one bitter customer, I advise any prospective patients to do further research online to see that Dr. Byrant's practice is truly a horrific thing. I really just hope to some way keep anyone from having the horrible experience that I did and seemingly many other people have had. I really wish I would have found these reviews before I visited this office. I must agree with the three bad reviews before this---this office is HORRIBLE. I strongly urge you to not go. My experience was actually VERY similar to Ayda's. I had an appointment on 12/31/13. The waiting room was packed and I waited for quite a while. Dr. Bryant was very nice--but that's it. He didn't stay in long at all. He asked me a ton of questions, took a chunk of my scalp (without warning me or explaining what it was for), never actually told me what was wrong with my skin, and then prescribed four prescriptions. One prescription was over 300 dollars alone!!!!! And today, February 3rd, I still haven't received the results of any test he ran from the sample he took from my scalp. He sent in a male nurse to do an allergy test on me--I didn't ask for this AND he didn't even tell me this was going to happen when he quickly left the room. They scheduled up a follow up for me. When I get home I see that they gave me someone else's appointment card. I call back--they don't have me or the person on the card actually scheduled! After I learn about the price of the prescriptions, I call back and ask for something cheaper. (I know, at this point...why was I even still calling). I left message after message--no returned phone call. I spoke to the front desk clerk who assured me someone would get back with me that day--still nothing. Finally I just called and left a really nasty message and the nurse finally called me back. I asked her could he just give me the same prescription my last dermatologist gave me before I moved. She did. I got the prescription with three refills. So I will never return to Dr. Bryant and when my prescription runs out I will find a new doctor. He didn't do anything for the bill that he sent me. The prescription I received was more as of a result of my last dermatologist. The staff is unprofessional. And it really just seems like he wants to do whatever he can to make you spend money or come back. Never again. Don't do it. Please--save yourself! read more

I concur with previous reviewers. If you want a rushed experience, with little interaction, as many name-brand prescriptions as possible, and delayed billing (almost 9 months late), this is your guy. Its sad to see the negative comments by so many people who may have failed to know the real Dr David Bryant. This guy has been a real gem to myself and my daughters. I'm very thankful for the accommodating hours of operation. I don't care what a physician wears to work as long as they are thorough in their knowledge of handling my health issues and he has done just that. Sometimes you have to step out of the traditional and be yourself. Never judge a good doctor because of his attire or office staff. Make him aware of the issues with his staff. If he is trying to accommodate everybody and their issues I appreciate and welcome the care. To me it means I'll get my questions answered and solutions to my skin issues too. Just to be fair and honest the office staff could use a little work as far as proper filing of insurance and patient service but his knowledge of his profession is superb. I had an appt for my son on Fri,2/13 at 12:00pm. We didn't get seen until 3:30pm. There was no explanation from the staff nor Dr. Bryant why he was running so behind. When we finally were seen I expressed my annoyance with having waited so long and he just said "sorry" and went on about his business. After talking to his staff about the problem, i was informed that he books patients right on top of one another - doesn't seem to want to change and do better for the sake of his patients - and the kicker was that he will take a walk-in before a regular patient who has been waiting. I've been going to Dr. Bryant for about 4 years now and I've felt the same way after every single visit. I've been putting off finding a new dermatologist for awhile but this is the last straw. He's always been the "rushy" type of doctor -- doesn't listen to your concerns, just hears a brief of what the nurse tells him & immediately he starts listing medications for you. I feel like he's more of a car sales guy than an actual doctor. Seriously, he does not even talk to you or listen to what you have to say. Every appointment of mine I've only seen him for less than 10 minutes because he's always in a hurry, talks fast, and treats his patients like it's a fast food service. He lets the nurses do half the job for him. I can tell he's also sponsored by a few companies so instead of choosing one generic brand for you (ex: name brands like tazorac or epiduo instead of retin-a) he gives you the name brand so HE can get money from it. My last visit, I couldn't even finish my sentence because he kept interrupting me to tell the nurse what to write down. I had to repeat myself 3 times, and on the fourth time he finally was ready. This guy is HORRIBLE!!! As a new patient I filled out my paperwork and gave them my info then they proceeded to try and charge my for more than a Specialist Co-pay saying it went under my deductible. I quickly let them know it wasn't a procedure but an office visit. Little did they know they were dealing with person with an insurance background. Then I questioned why I was paying for a visit that hadn't taken place yet. Crickets. A man called me back, led me to a room and asked me why I was there and I asked him who he was as I leaned to look at the name on his jacket. Oh hey...you're the doctor. Gee, nice to meet you. I showed him the spot on my leg, he immediately said he wanted to do a biopsy which I thought was drastic given he never said what he thought it was then he said he would have to swipe my card for more money to do the biopsy since it's a procedure. I said 'Could it be an insect bite? And why would I have to pay prior to having anything done? You haven't even done anything and you're wanting me to pay." He said that's just how they do things. He rattled off all the horrible things it could be...or an insect bit but still wanted to do a biopsy. He said he'd be 'sweet' and freeze another spot then I told him I'd go somewhere else for a second opinion. My husband saw this doctor yesterday. The staff was not. One of the prescriptions had a problem at the pharmacy. My pharmacy has called the office 2 times and I have called 3 times. Still a problem with the prescription. The staff assured me they had called the pharmacy. Didn't happen. I guess my husband doesn't need this medication after the surgery was performed. Beware of this doctor! It took me for what it seemed like forever to finally be seen by him. So just be prepared to wait an hour or two in a small and cramped room with hardly any seats available for his patients. The staff seemed to be a little naive and not very helpful. I have never seen doctors or staff dress so unprofessionally. Dr. Bryant came in wearing a polo and jeans. One of his workers was wearing Air Jordan shoes and other flashy questionable clothes, with a lab coat on top. He neglected the use of wearing gloves, even while giving me injections and using a scalpel to remove a few warts. Aside from removing my warts, he was very persistent on trying to remove as many moles or blemishes as he could from my body. Before the procedure, he gave me a consent form to sign, saying that it was just so they could remove my warts. I stupidly signed it without reading it, as Dr. Bryant had just informed me what it was for. A couple months later, I get a bill for over $250 from a lab in Albany, Georgia. The bill stated that I owed them for lab tests they ran on my 3 warts. This was very unusual because I had 3 small common warts (none that needed any concern) and I gave no such authority to have them sent out to be tested. I called the office a couple of times before they finally got back with me (they seem to never answer their phone) and requested to see the consent form I signed saying that I was okay with biopsies. The form they sent me was the SAME form that Dr. Bryant summarized and had me sign, a basic consent form to remove the warts. However, instead of the wart removal box being checked on my form, the biopsy box was checked! They went behind my back to have my warts sent off without my permission or knowledge thereof just for some extra cash. So, beware of their scams and unprofessionalism. I will never be going back. P.S. - Dr. Bryant's license has been suspended in the past and they have had some law suits on their hands pertaining to insurance fraud. read more

This team of people under Dr Bryant are extremely incompetent. They lose lab results, make up stories as to why you have been falsely rejected for medical testing to cover up why they have lost your samples. I waited over three months to get a medicine I was prescribed and a test result both because I was supposedly rejected by my insurance. I have since called the insurance on both accounts who have stated they have no contact in my records pertaining to these tests and or medications. When I ask for my results they give me a canned answer of it will take a few weeks more sometimes a Month. No Dr I've ever been to takes that long to get back a result. Next problem the waiting room is always full. The wait time can be exorbitant. The DR needs additional medical staff or cut down the number of patients as he is harried and way over loaded and people are making mistakes. Which is too bad because he seems really smart and well informed. To make matters worse to kill time between procedures you may be invited to visit the DR.'s wife's shoe store next door. SAY WHAT? And if you have seen the shoes being sold you would know that no Dr in his right mind would support the type of shoes being sold in this store as they will definitely have you visiting a podiatrist soon after. This is one crazy nut house and highly recommend you choose another DR ASAP. I am in the process of phasing myself out due to the above.
