We just completed the update in our kitchen. We chose Dave and his company after my husband and I visited a friend who used his company. We were extremely pleased with the workmanship of the cabinets. He and Justin were very easy to work with and had many great ideas in our process. Small details like creating a spice drawer under our cooktop is an example of the extra touch that makes the kitchen complete. We especially love our soft close cabinets and brand new drawers. His painters and cabinet workers were on time, courteous and always cleaned up after the days work. The finish product exceeding our expectations. We would recommend him highly and have already recommended him to several of our friends who are considering any type of remodel. I should have written a review a year ago, but I guess this is even a better review seeing as it's been a year and we still LOVE our bathroom. Dave and his crew, shout out to Angel, remodeled our 1966 bathroom with custom made cabinets, new wall texture, new paint and new tile, sinks, fixtures... everything! It looks beautiful. We, believe it or not, enjoyed having the guys here working for a few months. Angel was our main worker and what a professional! He truly knows how to do everything and does it well! After the bathroom was finished, they tore out the tile in our entry way and replaced it with hardwood floors. Then they took out ( ripped out/demolished) our flagstone fireplace surround and replaced that with a marble surround. They did a great job on everything and brought us into the 21st century! I've been meaning to do this review for nearly a year now. We hired Dave & his AMAZING team for the first time last year to bring what was once a dark boring corner of our house back to life. Before his team worked their magic we were unable to use our fireplace as it was set too far back with big bulky cabinetry and to use this corner of the house we had to constantly have lights on, there was no natural light at all. We got Dave's team on board and they understood straight away everything we wanted to do & made our visions come to life. We could not be more happy with the end result. From the windows to the new functional fireplace, the seats (which also contain storage in the bottom), lights & my favorite part the timber beam mantel. We also had the team re paint our whole house, change all the lighting and install crown molding. Dave was there every step of the way, checking in to make sure we were satisfied. Dave is a crazy character..if you want comic relief, then definitely meet him. Hiring him to paint my cabinets? Well, I'm unsure how this guy gets 5 stars... Based on his glowing star ratings, I hired him. The estimator, an older cool dude who used to own the company, came out and gave an estimate for painting my cabinets and replacing my drawers..The process took weeks, the drawers delivered were not only the wrong size, but they were a far inferior quality to the ones quoted, and the ones I already had...I ended up handling all that myself for 15% of the cost quoted.. I can hire my own day laborers to paint, going forward. His employees were respectful and professional, but they are encouraged to paint-n-flee. Time is $. We recently remodeled our kitchen, family room and two bathrooms in Alamo, Ca. David and his crew at Oak Mountain Cabinets were very responsive to our needs. We could not have asked for a better crew. They were punctual, careful and attentive to every detain and they always wanted to make sure that all work was done to our satisfaction. They also completed our remodel in a very reasonable length of time. When we were initially planning our project we read the Yelp reviews of many cabinet makers and narrowed our interview process to three cabinet companies.
