I hired Mr. Pree for interior painting, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The prep work was poor--walls weren't properly sanded or smoothed before painting. He quoted four days but rushed through it in two, cutting corners and clearly skipping essential prep work to get out faster. He painted over everything--hinges, vents, cable cords, and outlet receptacles--which I had to replace at my own expense. He didn't use drop cloths under the baseboards before painting them, and so the paint streaks and splotches on the concrete slabs had to be sanded down by the installers before laying laminate, costing me more time and money. For the price I paid, I expected more professionalism and attention to detail. I would not recommend him based on my experience. read more

I elected to do a Yelp blast for quotes for exterior paint of my home. If you've never done that, you complete a short questionnaire on here of what you need and Yelp sends it to multiple companies. Not sure that was the best thing to do but there it went! Some companies took days to respond, some never did. Mr. William Pree replied timely and we agreed on a date/time for an estimate rather soon. He showed up as scheduled, was straight forward and knowledgeable, and provided the estimate by the very next day as promised! Pree is a real piece of work to put it nicely. He is- self proclaimed- all about the bitches & $$$. I explained my situation to him with very sick wife & my prior painter changing their mind last minute after 3 weeks of game plan to paint then do flooring then touch ups. then deciding they wanted the opposite- flooring 1st then paint. which would have thrown my schedule back a week because the flooring person was scheduled for paint 1st not available last minute for flooring! Anyway Pree agreed to fit me in last minute which was great but he didn't do proper cleaning of mud dust before he started to paint, when I questioned him he just said gruffly-let me do it. " I know what I'm doing". He started spraying with me in the room no warning while I was trying to clean. He if course had his mask on, gave me no warning. His way of saying GTFO IMO. So I left, hoping for the best as I was desperate to get the work done and he is a licensed contractor...right!?(This doesn't mean a darn thing these days btw). He used a $120 bucket of my primer to get started, which he said he would credit towards the $7200 he was charging for the ~1000sq' of ceiling and walls to be painted,caulked etc. Not cheap! Pree took no deposit prior to start with the exception of the $120 valued primer. I got home and later that night my wife really started having a hard time breathing/chest pain & I had to call an ambulance to come get her. Anyway fast forward 3 days I wasn't able to get a PayPal payment to Pree as I had hoped. Was a bit consumed by what was going on with my wife & unable to go by my house to check out the work. Managed to send a test dollar to Pree that he confirmed, so I knew I had the correct account. I then tried to send two thousand as a good faith payment despite no pics or confirmation of work. It didn't go through, ugh! Turned out that was for the best. Saturday morning about 9am my Realtor confirmed that the downstairs had been painted but couldn't confirm quality due to lack of light. The Realtor left and an hour or two later Pree came back and sprayed silver all over the dove white, dumped paint all over the floor for the flooring guy to clean, stole a new Truitt & White green 5gal bucket & what else I'm not sure yet. Anyway the quality was horrible as you will see from the pictures, gobs if paint everywhere, no back rolling- he worked solo. This was new grade 4 drywall mud job, new smooth aka S4S(smooth 4 sides) posts and a freshly sanded smooth main support beam. I have several cameras for security which also help general activity. Pree work just about 6.5 hours according to my footage. Pree told me he was done but again all kinds of details missing and he sprayed $30 GFCI outlets over with paint etc. Broke my macerator cover, sprayed the interior if my brand new infrared laundry room fan, destroying it. This guy is charging more than many high priced attorneys!!! More than $1000/hour!!! For my job. I would be very wary of poor quality & corner cutting with Pree's work. I will be adding more photos the hospital pics are to show I was actually in the hospital with my wife, no BS on my end. I have many more pictures & video to add but find it difficult to update my Yelp reviews so checkout Google reviews for more detail. Know your rights to defend yourself against bad contractors. They were so nice when i chatted with them so i put their card away for future reference. 5 to 6 months later i called and they came to give me a quote. William Pree literally saved the day! I knocked down a wall to make one big room, and had another contractor come and patch the drywall. His painting skills were not up to par... so I reached out to Pree's Professional Painting. William listened to my ideas and told me my color scheme would not likely have the desired effect. He offered suggestions on complementary paint colors - advice which I took. The result is a beautiful, two-color, custom designed space with accent walls and a chair rail edge. The seam where the two colors meet is razor sharp. The corners and trim are clean, with no running or smudging of the colors. There was a lot of dust due to the drywall sanding.
