It has turned out really well and I think will be a normal looking toe! His front office person Sabrina is excellent. She is a hard worker and is very helpful. In both of my visits to the office she was very respectful of me and my time. What a delightful person! Katie and Kristy both support Dr. Halloran. They are excellent communicators, got right to business and were completely thorough. They prepared me for what was to happen next so I was mentally prepared and they equipped me well with supplies going out the door. When I met Dr. Shock -- his first words to me were "How about we get this fixed up?" -- I was stunned after living with this pain for over 2 years. :) It turned out that I had a torn 'longus peroneal tendon' that he was able to diagnose with an MRI. Why no other doctor thought of that before, I have no idea. I suffered through the injections, creams, socks, inserts with other doctors without any relief. I had the peroneal tenodesis surgery and was walking without pain within 2 weeks of surgery! Doctor Shock is an amazing doctor and just a very friendly and welcoming guy -- I feel like I've known him for years! :) I highly recommend him for any foot pain that you may be enduring now -- you can be completely confident that he will fix you right up!

I underwent bunion surgery on my right foot, along with correction of another toe. Unfortunately, the final outcome has been very disappointing. Following surgery, my big toe healed with a significant gap between it and my second toe, creating an unnatural appearance that has never improved. In addition, the toe that was corrected with a pin never healed properly and now "floats" rather than resting naturally on the ground. Despite prolonged taping and following the postoperative instructions provided, these issues never resolved. I became so dissatisfied with the outcome that I ultimately chose not to return for additional treatment. I understand that no surgery comes with guarantees, but I feel my concerns and the long term appearance and function of my foot were not adequately addressed. Years later, I remain unhappy with the results and regret having had the procedure performed. Based on my personal experience and outcome, I cannot recommend this surgeon.

It's my food...I had to walk on it. Went for a second opinion at ADC, and had to have surgery again to correct first one. Doctor said that all the hardware Dr McSpadden had put in was all over the place, it had totally come undone inside my foot. Also, my toe never fused because there was a gap between the two bones. The second surgery took 3 hours and my new doctor was wonderful! But...I am in a boot again for 8 weeks! I will say that McSpadden's office staff was wonderful.

I wound up working with Joe for 7 months with weekly visits. He started out slow with some strength and flexibility routines and added more strenuous exercises as time went on. PT works and you have to trust the process. The care I received was excellent. I now work out 5 days a week and my legs are stronger than ever.

Dr. Kuhns looked at the X-rays from August and compared them to the ones in November and realized that there was something terribly wrong with the changes in the images. Almost immediately he scheduled major back surgery, going in from both the front and back in a six hour surgery. A bacterial infection was the cause of the rapid deterioration of two discs in my spine. I had several different doctors try to treat me with steroid shots, radiofrequency ablation, and a spinal stimulator. The pain just kept getting worse until I finally was referred to Dr. Kuhns for evaluation. The rest is history, as I can finally walk without major pain, and getting better by the day.
