PNC then sat on it for three days without making the money available. While PNC was contemplating whether my money was sufficiently money-like to let me use it, a payment hit my account roughly $5 short. PNC returned the payment and, naturally, charged me an overdraft fee. So PNC could see the incoming money. I could see the incoming money. The sending bank had already released the money. But because PNC kept it pending for three days, I got a returned insurance payment, an overdraft fee, and a completely unnecessary mess to clean up. I never went looking for PNC. They bought my bank and inherited me as a customer. A few months later, I'm leaving. After only a few months, I've achieved Post Nut Clarity. Sometimes you blow a wad, find yourself overextended, wonder how the heck you ended up in this relationship, and realize it's time to move on. That's PNC.

What PNC has managed to do in the short time it's taken over 1st Bank is thoroughly and remarkably awful. I had an account at BBVA at one time, in addition to my 1st Bank account. When PNC acquired/merged with BBVA, my experience was awful then as well. Customer service, if one could call it that, was, for me, virtually non-existent. I closed my account as soon as i could. My experience of the 1st Bank/PNC merger/acquisition has been even worse. It's been like being the protagonist in a Kafka novel. I could detail all the ways in which the transition has been a failure so far, but that would take time and energy that my PNC interactions have largely sucked out of me. Thank goodness for exceptional staff like Brenna at the Twin Peaks branch and bank manager Mary B. at the North Main Street branch. I hope PNC management is wise enough to recognize and reward these two exceptional employees.

Of course here, nothing could be done. One employee was on leave and low staffing would not change for a couple of months. No new hires, no one transfered in, no one to replace. They have only 2 tellers for the foreseeable future. Sorry, not really a service oriented bank.

Pro tip - if you go to the Silver Bullet Bar, in the 300 section, you can find $3 beers until first pitch. You can get two beers at a time, so keep that in mind as well. The stadium is very clean and well kept as are the bathrooms. The upper deck has plenty of picnic tables and a variety of seating where you can still watch the game on TVs. Coors Field is a staple of Denver, so let's hope those Rockies get back on their feet!

I have been to a few MLB parks. Coors Field is fairly nice and has lots of food and drink options. I was a bit bummed with the NA selection, especially since Coors sells two different NA beers of their own. You could only really find NA options at one or two vendors in the whole park. Regular drinks could be found just about anywhere. I didn't try any of the food aside from the frozen cheesecake on a stick, which is as good as you'd think it was. The restrooms here are kind of a bummer. They are outdated, and the women's lines were out of control. The sound quality for a concert was good, and luckily we had great seats, though some of the seats were literally behind the stage, and you certainly could not see anything from them. I am glad we didn't buy those seats! The iconic purple row of seats is a fun easter egg of the stadium, and I thought the overall aesthetic was good. I can't comment on parking as we walked over from a friend's place who lives nearby, but it's super walkable from Union Station and downtown, even from RiNo if you're up for a bit longer of a walk. Overall, a nice ballpark. I would return for a baseball game, with the hope that it was not as insanely crowded as this Noah Kahan show.
