I tried to explain he's not in my network anymore and was told I needed a second biopsy if I was experiencing what I was currently experiencing. He said "maybe if you write him a nice email". I was FLOORED. I spent almost $100 for this visit. I ended up choosing a new doctor who did do a second biopsy and at 31 years old, I was diagnosed with cancer. After taking my X-rays, they carefully explained everything to me and answered all my questions. I also watched a pre-procedure instruction video, which helped me understand what to expect. When I met Dr. Kim, he was professional, clear, and straightforward. He explained my treatment options concisely and also pointed out potential risks related to my other teeth. After discussing everything together, we decided to take a conservative approach -- remove the wisdom teeth first and monitor the other teeth to see if they could recover over time. I really appreciated being involved in the decision-making process. The surgery itself was excellent. It was my first time receiving anesthesia and having teeth extracted, and I can honestly say I felt absolutely no discomfort. Dr. Kim removed both wisdom teeth efficiently and skillfully. (Yes, I could hear the drill and some hammering sounds -- which was a little funny -- but I felt zero pain.) After the procedure, I followed the instructions carefully, took the prescribed medication, and applied ice as recommended.
