I have been a patient of Dr Heldt's for a bit now. I recently needed two implants, which were kind of an emergency situation as they were both infected. He made an action plan for me right away and we got started. The difference between him and most others is that he was able to remove the old teeth, insert the screw, and put a temporary on right away. This was of HUGE importance to me, as the teeth are visible (I've had other implants done, but they were my back teeth so I wasn't as concerned about leaving those spaces empty during the healing process) The temporaries look great! I think I'm probably the only person that can tell the difference. Looking forward to healing up and getting the permanent crowns on. The office is beautiful and the service is amazing. Dr. Heldt is truly one-of-kind in many ways in his dental practice. The first appointment was essentially getting a bunch of x-rays along with Dr. Heldt's examination of my teeth and his recommendations of various remedies for current and future issues he describes very well. After this, we go into a consultation space with a computer monitor and lots of dental models and lovely decor to decide which procedures, if any, I'd like to pursue and I was able to let him know the time frames I had in mind. He is very upfront, incredibly helpful, and is even willing to work with the pricing if needed. My mom needs implants in the near future and Dr. Heldt went out of his way to ask her if she might have any questions about anything even though it wasn't her appointment. He is such an amazing dentist and he is second to none is the level of state-of-the-art technologies he offers for veneers and implants, in particular, but general knowledge as well. The general dentistry needs in his office are handled by Dr. Penry with whom I have an appointment in a couple of days. Awesome practice! Update: I just had my dental filling and cleaning today and it was the most magical experience I've had for these services in my life! First, Dr. Penry and Nasrin did such an amazing job with the cavity filling that I felt like I was getting a brand new tooth at the factory or something, and it was all pain-free and fun... and they even showed me the before and after photos of the tooth and there indeed was a need to redo the filling the previous dentist in Hawaii had filled. Then, I had the cleaning with Theresa, the hygienist, and she has these amazing loupes and her cleaning was the most gentle process imaginable, yet highly effective and my mouth felt super clean... and I didn't even need a bib for either process because the tools and people they have are so precise. Theresa even made some suggestions on what kind of a toothbrush would work best for my teeth because my mouth is on the smaller side, which is super helpful to know and I love it when I get to learn something new about how to be healthier that is actually applicable. And then Dr. Heldt came afterwards and asked if everything went alright and if I had any pain and I certainly had no pain whatsoever, it was really like a dream. I sought out a dentist who can match a single veneer to the rest of my teeth. One of my main 6 front teeth chipped 10 years ago. The composite filling used by my general dentist has now stained and failed to capture the original shape of my tooth. I did copious research and after analyzing many before and after pictures, I found Dr. Heldt- who is a 1.5 hour drive away in traffic but was well worth it. He was truly the only dentist that I found that truly could match the translucency, shape, coloring of one veneer to the rest of your teeth- which is not an easy task. Even when consulting with other dentists, I was told to get two veneers so it can be easier to match- but I declined because I wanted to preserve my original teeth as much qs possible. I have had four appointments with Dr. Heldt and I am impressed with his talent in dentistry, eye for detail, and eagerness for new innovative technology. I recently visited Dr. Heldt and my experience was not good. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt cold and impersonal. Everything is all white like a nut house facility The receptionist seemed disinterested, confused, and she needed to smile and speak louder very unwelcoming. Heavy Asian accent couldn't hear her. Don't know if she was new. Doesn't seem to know what she is doing. Not confident. When I was finally seated in the dental chair, I was hoping things would improve, but they didn't. He barely took the time to introduce himself before jumping straight into the exam. His demeanor was curt, and he seemed more focused on getting through the appointment quickly than ensuring I was comfortable or informed. What really bothered me was his lack of chairside manners. He didn't explain what he was doing, nor did he take the time to address my concerns or answer my questions in a meaningful way. Instead, I felt like just another number being pushed through the system. The entire interaction felt rushed and at no point did I feel like I was in the hands of a caring professional. My experience at Dr. Heldt was disappointing I would not recommend this office to anyone seeking quality dental care or a dentist who truly values their patients. I can't believe how lucky I was to find Dr. Heldt here on Yelp. Already juggling health issues, I discovered an infection next to a tooth with a temporary. Worried about secondary infection, I called my old dentist. When they didn't call me back I paid a visit only to find they were closed for fumigation. After suffering all weekend I called again Monday but unfortunately they were on vacation for the next week, so I started hunting for emergency treatment. Jhanvi was attentive and understood my plight. She booked me an urgent appointment and in an hour I was getting X-rayed by an Angel named Claudia. I recently cracked an older crown that I had for many years. I decided to use Dr. Jeremy Heldt after my wife just had a great experience using him for another dental problem. Dr Heldt reviewed the problem and explained that we would have to remove the old crown, inspect the tooth, and replace the crown with a new one to fix the problem. What amazed me is that he could do the whole procedure in one visit because he utilizes all the new technology and makes the actual replacement crown in house. I didn't have to have a temporary for 2 weeks waiting for the new crown to come in. The procedure was flawless. He removed the old crown. He used this 3d image technology to map the old tooth (both the exterior crown and interior mounting point). Then he actually made the crown from 3d image. He installed the crown and made some minor adjustments and viola! The whole process was done in 1 trip to his office. The next morning I confirmed it was a perfect fit and and bite. Around midnight on June 6,2020 I Tripped on a pillow in the middle of the night and slammed my face into my glass nightstand- resulting in a broken jaw(top), 9 fractured teeth and leaving shards of glass in my lip(note to all: avoid glass furniture) THANK GOD we found Dr. Heldt on Yelp and called and left a voicemail and he was able to see me the very next morning! My experience with this place was mixed. I called as a potential client, but unfortunately, the receptionist was not helpful, which alone turned me off. I won't be spending my money here as it feels like a gateway to future problems. To make a long story short, OK, probably not likely. But here goes. My dentist of over 20 years recently retired. I was putting off finding a new dentist until I had one of those oh sh*#t moments. Teresa is the in-house hygienist and is the most gentle and thorough hygienist I have ever experienced in my many many hours in a dentist chair. She also possess the latest techie tools. Having not been to the dentist in many years, I suspected I had a lot of work to do and was less than excited about going to the dentist. I knew I needed an implant, so I researched for the best implant doctor in the area. I know an implant rep, and he called the higher-ups at his company for a referral in the area. Two separate people at the company recommended the same name: Dr. Jeremy Heldt. I was told that he specializes in the latest technology in computer assisted dental implants, and he actually gives lectures on how to use the equipment. The office is super clean, the staff is quite kind, and there are a number of little things in place to make the experience as comfortable as possible. Dr. Heldt even offered to turn the music to a podcast I was listening to. My first visit confirmed my suspicions that I needed a bit of work. They broke down the cost structure, gave me a couple of different treatment plans - explaining the cost/benefit analysis of each option - and scheduled me for a crown the following week. Dr. Heldt has his own state of the art, high-tech machines on site, and he can actually make your crown on the spot in 15 minutes. This eliminates the inconvenience of multiple visits and a temporary crown. The side benefit is that it is actually more cost effective than sending it out to a 3rd party laboratory. Win/win. My experience was literally pain free, and I felt like a human being treated by a doctor that truly cares. He did not juggle multiple patients and leave me hanging there in a chair. I was his only patient the entire time I was there. Since my first treatment, I have received multiple follow-up calls and messages from the dentist himself to ask how I was feeling; he wanted to know how the work in my mouth was holding up and if I was experiencing any sensitivity. I thought the first call was a kind, personal gesture. By the next follow-up, I realized this dentist really cares about his patients and is truly interested in how I am doing and how his work is performing. I have a similar work ethic in my own business, and I appreciate seeing it in others. I would recommend Dr. Jeremy Heldt for anyone that wants a dentist who is on the cutting edge of technology, but has an old school, down-to-earth work ethic and caring personality. read more

I am so happy that I found Dr Heldt! This is not your typical dental office. It is modern, clean, and (not to sound like a hippy) has great vibes! The whole team is friendly and professional. I had a procedure done today and I was a little nervous since it was on my front teeth, but the outcome was phenomenal! Additionally, I had some concerns that I wanted to address and I felt like they listened, fully explained what my options were, and weren't pushy about how I wanted to proceed. Changing my dental office to Dr. Heldt's was the best decision and every visit has exceeded my expectations. Janvi at the front desk is very welcoming and easy to communicate with regarding payments, insurance coverage, and scheduling appointments. I've had a cleaning with Teresa, and it was the best cleaning I've ever had. She's extremely skilled and gentle at the same time. I've seen Dr. Heldt for a crown, filling, and onlay, and I have to say he is an excellent doctor. I've always dreaded going to the dentist but Dr. Heldt has changed that. I am a difficult patient and have difficulty keeping my mouth open for long periods of time and get uncomfortable quick however, Dr. Heldt was very patient and always allowed me to take breaks whenever needed. He is very kind, empathetic, and has great chair side manner, which I find to be critical in a health care provider. During my multiple visits, Dr. Heldt and his staff were extremely skilled, precise, and gentle, all while using the most up to date technology so my exams and treatments were very comfortable. I am a mom. I put myself on the back burner all of the time. I had not had a cold/hot beverage in years because of the pain in my molars (I am a serial tooth grinder at night). I was super scared to go get them fixed. My teeth hurt. Really hurt. Dr. Heldt's team made sure I was numb (completely numb as cold air even hurt them), and they put me at total ease from the get go. The work they did is beautiful. Sincerely. I would never have posted pictures of my molars 3 months ago. It took three visits, but that was because of the damage I had done. His nurses are kind, sweet, and so easy to talk to. The Newport Beach view from the office was beautiful too. After my first time, I looked forward to my visits there. After all of the work was done with his high tech equipment (think x-ray machine brought TO YOU in the dental chair!!!), I was fitted with a night guard to stop this from ever happening again. These experiences were amazing, but keep reading why I will never change offices again. I was still needing to pick up my night guard and make sure it fit (it did! Perfectly and comfortably!). Last Thursday, the night before I was leaving out of town, I broke my 28 year old bonding off of my front tooth. I called Dr. Heldt, and he was concerned like a friend. He told me he would come in early for me on a Friday morning to fix it if I could make it. I did! I had my tooth fixed and didn't look like a hillbilly for my weekend away in under an hour and got my new night guard! I can't say enough about Dr. Heldt. His work is impeccable and his prices are reasonable (he even takes insurance-I didn't have any)! BTW: Dr. Heldt wants you to keep your teeth! They are a big believer in saving teeth and doing crowns as the last resort. I love this. What a gem to have found this dentistry. read more
