The following might help people. There's a fundamental problem with the relationship between ALE…read moreSolutions, your Insurance Company, and the reality of your insurance policy. If your homeowners policy covers loss of use to your home, you probably have a time frame and dollar threshold based on the rebuild cost of your home. "Unlimited" is usually based on cost of rebuilding the home. And there is probably a "reasonable accommodation" aspect mentioned in your temporary housing options. Reasonable is open ended, but at the very least based on how many adults and children lived in the home, and given local ordinances on how many people can occupy a rental home or apartment etc, reasonable generally means you need x amount of bedrooms and something on par with your home. (also including kitchen, bathroom, pets) Your insurance company contracts out finding temporary housing to ALE, who is always going to be limited to what is actually available. DO NOT ALLOW ALE or your Insurance company to put you in a hotel, extended stay, or rental home if it DOES NOT MEET THEIR OBLIGATIONS TO FIND YOU SOMETHING EQUAL or reasonable to your home. And yes, the Insurance company might use unethical means to deceive you of what your entitled to. ALE has an up and down reputation, but it has a lot to do with your Insurance Company not meeting their responsibility of finding a reasonable accommodation. If the only thing available is 3 hotel rooms at the local Marriott. And ALE can't find you a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house with a fenced backyard for your two dogs. YOU HAVE EVERY RIGHT to tell the Insurance company the 600 foot 2 bedroom home offered by ALE SOLUTIONS isn't good enough. You have every right to refuse those offers if they don't meet the contractual obligation in your insurance policy. Stay in that Hotel. Yes, the Insurance Company is going to spend 15,000 dollars a month and wants you out of the Hotel. It is not the customers fault that the insurance company did not realistically handle the housing shortage issues in a market. Nor is it the customers fault that they hired ALE Solutions who doesn't offer a sensible market rate to the Insurance Company on hotels stays, and extended stays. You probably can find a cheaper extended stay rate then ALE Solutions did. In all reality, ALE doesn't have people negotiating rates with hotels, or rental properties at reduced rates. You might think they did. But they don't. You will eventually have an Insurance Adjuster (possibly lying to you) trying to tell you, that you must move out of the hotel because (it's expensive for the Insurance Company). But again, it's not your problem that your Insurance Company is lazy and doesn't have good business practices. ALE is only going to offer what is available. And the entire country has a housing crisis. Good luck finding a month to month temp rental. Don't do it, tell them to honor the contract and F off.

These people have no empathy for the people they are supposed to be helping. The worst…read morecommunicators and dont follow up on anything and are not easy to get in contact with. They sent me down the wrong housing department for several weeks while i was stuck in a hotel. Then when they did get me to the right department the people cancelled my hotel before i got into my long term housing without any check in or communication about the new property starting or the hotel ending. Also had me pay a deposit for the wrong departments housing and i have been inquiring weekly for a month now about getting it refunded and never get any return calls or emails. Still trying to track down the refund for something i never used. Rude, worthless people. I cant wait to see what other issues pop up during my stay with the company until my home is rebuilt. State farm should not be doing business with them and just pushes us to them so they dont have to deal with anything. Everyone wants money but doesnt want to do anything for it.

Omgosh, Greg is more than just a pretty face. I am a new customer with Greg, but a State Farm…read morecustomer for 30+ years. My prior agent of fifteen years was in total retirement mode at 70 years old. Never had an issue until 7 months ago with this agent. After realizing he was just not into his job anymore (that's putting it nicely) I went with Greg because of his great reviews! Not to mention the baggage I came with!! Trust me- there is a reason why Greg Metelak has great reviews. Greg has been super patient with me, because I have had a chip on my shoulder from previous my agent and what I went thru. We talked on the phone at length and he was able to fix a HUGE issue for me. His patience and taking the time with me on the phone today- was truly amazing. Greg was able to resolve everything that has been an issue for 6+ months with my previous agent. Greg is super savvy and intelligent, figuring out how to personalize customers needs AND getting a better then I was even expecting! Trust me, I can be a pain when I have an issue- but Greg took the ball and ran with it! If you want an honest, agent who has your back 100% for home, auto, life, etc. Greg Metelak is your insurance agent- who will get you insured for a very decent, affordable price!! I also need to mention Phil, who works hard on the numbers too for you in a very upbeat manner! Greg Metelak- thanks for putting up with me and still giving me stellar service! I have nothing but respect for you taking the time getting this resolved- even though I was such a pain. Sorry about that!

I've referred everyone his way and they've all come to me after and said the same thing. They didn't feel like they were sold, they felt taken care of. Anyone can call another insurance company, but they usually just want to sell you something quick without explaining what everything means. Biggest tip for anyone, just because it's "full coverage" from another provider, doesn't mean you're fully protected. Greg is one of the good ones!
