I (like most people) dread the idea of oral surgery and was worried when my regular dentist explained that I would need to have two molars extracted due to a crown that was never quite right and caused the decay of the adjacent tooth. Long story short, my experience couldn't have been better. The staff was very friendly and understanding and the doctor did an amazing job. The teeth were removed and the recovery was virtually painless, even with just ibuprofen. I would certainly recommend Dr. Alkhatib and OSA in Fairfield.

Dr Miller is very personable. He knows me and my family and always asks about them before getting down to business. When I've had major procedures done he always explains all the options and helps me pick the most cost-effective solution. Then when I'm in the chair he makes sure it's pain free and explains what's going to happen every step of the way, which I really appreciate. The office staff are also very nice. After consulting with a couple of implant specialists and general dentists, I met with Michael Sonick, whose reputation as one of this country's top implant specialists I was aware of. From initial consultation to the surgeries where my teeth (such as they were) were removed and the implants placed to the follow up visits, he was meticulous, supportive, and always available via his cell number. His office staff, dental assistants, and hygienists were terrific. It's a long process to get this done correctly, but well worth the time. I never thought to review a dentist on Yelp.
