When a practice calls you a BULLY for standing up to fraud, you know you are dealing with people who have no integrity. I went to Dr Breiner years ago so when I returned to the area I called his office to see if he could clean dental implants, I explained I had FULL upper and lower implants and they said they had to do some work to look at my implants. Two hours later Dr Breiner finally sat me in the chair and I asked when he was going to remove the implants and clean them he said I DO NOT DO THAT. He tried to clean under it but did not even know how to do that. He gave me three bottles and said they would cure all my ails. A month later my symptoms were worse and he had a 5 minute conversation with me and THEN TRIED tO CHARGE FOR MORE BOTTLES OF WATER. It was then I realized I was dealing with fraud and asked for my money to be returned. The OFFICE MANAGER SAID SHE WOULD REFUND MY MONEY AND HUNG UP ON ME.. After 2 weeks I tried to call again and tried a dozen times but it always went to voice mail Finally I called his son's medical office next door and told them what happened and she said she would pass a message Today I got a letter telling me I was a bully and said I came for evaluation. I DID NOT COME FOR EVALUATION. I CAME TO HAVE MY IMPLANTS CLEANED, and they dont even do what I called and made an appointment for. I have contacted an attorney. THIS IS INSANE. After reading about Breiner's credentials, I went to few appointments with him and even referred some friends. Well, shouldn't do that. .All of us did not like his attitude. Snotty dentist, fond of himself, too busy to talk to you or answer your questions but surprisingly never too busy to ask when are you going to come back for very expensive dental work. Could never understand how people like him manage to act like they are doing public a huge favor...Did they forget the fact that they make a very nice living, thanks to us, patients, and not vice versa? The book this fraudulent "holistic" dentist wrote was Ghost Written. He does not remotely practice the gentle, intelligent or holistic dentistry that he professes in anything he may have put his name on. He caught the "tidal wave" of natural healing and holistic practices, but he is one of the most unskilled and uncaring individuals you could blindly put your trust into. He uses GENERIC, cheaper composites and knows nothing, NOTHING about the toxicology of the products he is putting into people's mouths. He has caused a domino-effect of issues for me from just one, horrible, HORRIBLE day I made an appointment based solely on his manufactured, highly-orchestrated publicity. He may be taking out the amalgam fillings, which is great.... but what is he replacing them with? What is his protocol? He did not take amalgams out for me. Instead, his disreputable front-desk sales clerk told me how great and excellent he was in all aspects of dentistry, including very delicate areas. Well, He was trusted to simply work on a small chip on a front tooth. He did not tell me nor even bother to talk with me like a human being who is attached to the tooth.... he grabbed some drill and started drilling on my front tooth without asking! He then grabs a bottle of toxic "Etchant" and drips it down the tooth causing immediate pain and lets it pool into the bottom of my mouth. This is such a toxic product that any skilled dentist I have told this story to has been shocked to hear of such reckless practices. The etchant then gets ALL OVER MY MOUTH and sticks like sand paper to all of my other teeth! He damaged my enamel, and I was forced to swallow the product as his incompetent assistant, along with him [as he is really responsible for the care] did not bother to suction it out. Every good dentist would tell you that there is a small q-tip device that all good dentists use for any etchant and they NEVER pour something like this from the bottle into the mouth of a patient! With having taken headshot photos the day before, he only became pathetically arrogant when shown my beautiful teeth before he ever touched me. Every single Dentist since this time, when seeing my head shots, said that the chip was microscopic and he only needed to sand it down rather than doing such a terrible job that put GENERIC, very cheap composite all over my tooth! I STILL am having to deal with the domino effect. The next day, after swallowing the toxic substance, I felt everything in my body in pain. My throat was raw and my teeth felt like sand paper. And this is "Holistic"??????????? No, it is far, far, very far from anything remotely professional, skilled, or holistic. Most of the good Holistic Dentists are in the California and Florida locations. I've been going to see Dr. Breiner for years now and have always had a good experience. I went to see him because he is a holistic dentist and knows the proper procedure for removing amalgams. I had way to many mercury fillings and wanted them replaced with composites. Dr. Breiner even wrote a book calledWhole-Body Dentistry. He has the credentials that I was looking for. I found him very abrupt and impersonal. Perhaps he is very good at what at he does but it never got that far. He gave us some homeopathic concoction which looked like water in a dropper that he said would help with pain. It was probably the most detached visit I've had with a doctor so it was very disappointing. Told us that he wanted me to see his son for endocrinology workup in the adjacent office .... hmmmm. That's convenient. Sons office took weeks to call us. By then we got the vibe and had moved on. Wanted to like it there but bedside manner is huge. I sought Dr Briener's ability to remove amalgam fillings after doing some personal research surrounding holistic dentistry and autoimmune disease. His staff is friendly with a customer-first attitude. I had about 10 fillings removed in 2 appointments. A few months later I chipped a tooth and Dr Briener even came in to file it down for me on his day off. Although his services would be considered more expensive than the average, this expectation was set for me at my very first appointment. It was explained that all fees must come out of pocket and I would be provided with dental claims forms to work one with my insurance company. Unfortunately, Dr. Breiner et.al. are ALL about the MONEY....if you are of limited resources, forget them as they will NEVER accommodate you. That's why they moved their practice.... where the Wealthier out of pocket payers live. Don't think for a second they "really" care about YOU ! they do IF you can pay their exorbitant prices.... Dr. Breiner can spout ALL he wants about his alternative dental care, but if you can't afford his prices, too bad for you. Mark breiner has been my dentist for many years. with his help I have been able to maintain my ability to eat, chew and look decent. At one point all my top front teeth came out. He kept me going with temporaruy bidges until the implants that were installed healed. Another dentist did the implants. It was about 6 months and no one knew as I looked okay . he has always been there and gone out of his way for me as a patient. I read a review that said he was arrogant. H is NOT arrogant, he is just caring and more knowledgeable and ahead of his time than many other dentists. HIS book is just wonderful!. read more
