First, Chef Trish and staff: Friendly, engaging, hardworking, attentive to details. As a group which included young children running around we never felt that we were in the way. Trish made us feel like we were part of the cooking adventure. Chef Trish's food: farm to table, locally sourced delicacies, outstanding use of spices and herbs. The explanation of each course along with the pop quizzes of hidden ingredients made our special sit down dinner so much fun. The myriad of new tastes over the 3 days was a wonderful gift to our taste buds. Chef Trish's clever use of different herbs, vinegars and spices enhanced the flavors of her Asian Shrimp appetizer, the Iberico pork, the Wagu beef....and so many other dishes. The compound butter using Asian scallions was so delicious we were eating it on anything we could find the next morning. From the charcuterie board to the blueberry and cottage cheese cake, everything was outstanding. As an aside...I greatly appreciated the kindness Chef Trish showed my Grandson when he needed to cook his own food. He has extreme food allergies and she gave him complete run of the stove while talking to him about allergies and how he could enhance some of his food. Their interaction was priceless. And the owner looked at me and said THIS IS MY BUSINESS and my employee and he needs to understand what I say goes and he can't just go try and accommodate every customer asking for something. She stocked the fridge with snacks and drinks, put out a beautiful lunch buffet on the wedding day while people were having their hair and makeup done; set up a minibar for afterhours; managed the kitchen, clean up/breakdown. Lauren was a dream to work with: she immediately understood what we were looking for, had great solutions for food allergies; prepared delicious food; left the house in perfect condition so I (the MOB) didn't have to worry about anything. Finally, she was a super nice person to work with, everyone loved her, a great addition to our special occasion. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
