That peace of mind is exactly why, the moment I got engaged, Kim was my very first call. After my wedding, I was genuinely surprised to come across a review claiming that Kim and her team "scammed" a couple and provided poor service. That simply does not reflect what I have personally witnessed, now on two separate occasions. Looking through the many other reviews from happy couples, it's clear that my experience is consistent with the overwhelming majority. It's sad to see a single review that is so completely opposite of what so many others, including myself, have experienced. While every wedding has its own unique challenges, I have personally seen Kim remain calm, professional, patient, and willing to help even when faced with difficult circumstances. In my opinion, she consistently goes above and beyond to create an experience that is unforgettable not only for the couple, but for every guest attending. My experiences with her have been consistently positive, and I truly believe her long history of happy couples speaks for itself. The services were so terrible that in the end, I felt scammed out of a lot of money. Even though we did hire day-of event planning, she was unresponsive throughout our entire planning process which was my first red flag. Even when we scheduled meetings she would never send a meeting link unless I asked. We were promised periodic meetings and they were not scheduled proactively by her. At one point I followed up asking about our Day 85 call and she never responded to me. In the end, a week before the wedding I had to schedule my own call with the vendors and add her, hoping she would join. Even on calls that I scheduled, I had to remind her when/where to join. Responses were delayed by weeks, if she even bothered to answer my emails, and constantly asked questions for things that we already covered. Then during the event itself, our venue staff complained about how they have never seen such poor service at any of their previous events. Kim forgot my bouquet at the time of the ceremony. We had to wait for her to go get it before walking down the aisle. They were unable to answer questions for the venue staff and made little effort to help them out, to the point they had to wake them up at 8:30PM to get their help transferring alcohol. They did not help pack up or take down decorations, assist guests, or check rooms for lost property. I did not even see or hear from them myself on the Sunday morning of my departure. There are many more examples that I personally have but I will avoid listing them all here. I hope that by writing this review I have helped someone else avoid hiring her as a wedding planner and feeling scammed as I did.

She was there to answer any questions I had (which often came via frantic email/texts), and she was really helpful when I was trying to decide things about decor, wedding day timeline, guest accommodations, etc. She was in constant communication with all of my vendors, and was always quick to respond via text or email when needed. The weekend of the event she was super organized, and made sure everything went smoothly. My late husband, Ashley's father, had promised her the wedding of her dreams and she had, over time, created a vivid and richly-detailed vision of the event that Sarah 'magically' made real for her. I ran my own catering company for twelve years and planned my share of weddings; I am well aware that Sarah's graceful and seemingly effortless execution of the entire extravaganza was, in reality, the result of assiduous attention to detail, tireless preparation and contingency planning and a wonderful capacity for collaboration and communication. She juggled the often conflicting priorities of the bride, the site planners, the hotel event staff and literally dozens of other vendors, while subtly nudging them all toward a coherent team effort with charm and finesse. I know from professional experience how much hard work goes into making things look easy. Often, it's the little touches that leave lasting impressions and fond memories. In the final, hectic minutes before we left the house for the ceremony, it was discovered that one of the wedding party did not have his specially matched tie (all of the ties had been ordered months in advance and couldn't be replaced.) Sarah made a matching tie "materialize" out of thin air ; always "Be Prepared" for any eventuality. She had saved a spare. Moments later, as we awaited the arrival of the shuttle, she noticed that my son, who was perspiring freely in the 90 degree heat, was in need of tee shirt to protect his dress shirt, she raced off and bought him one. Additionally all LED orbs did not work and he did not provide enough coal for the hookah- he actually suggested that we "ask someone to purchase the coal", but we paid for a full setup. When we tried to call him to ask what time the extra sectionals would be there, there was no response. When we called from a number he did not recognize, he responded. Lastly, there was no notice given for pickup, he literally just showed up the ne today, gathered his furniture and left. Horrible business- research your other options please.

Just attended a wedding for my friends Melissa & Leanne here. Although there was a slight drizzle…read more(a good luck sign for the brides), we were able to have the ceremony outside with a gorgeous view of the water. This space is handi-accessible which was a big factor for venue selection. The staff was so friendly and attentive and the space was able to accommodate a DJ with the dance floor and a space for cocktail hour with an ice cream bar, yum! The cocktail hour consisted of seemingly endless appetizers/hor dourves and the bartender was awesome during the open bar including signature drinks for the brides and their cat, Rory (yes, named after Gilmore Girls). The main course was buffet style with coffee and cake afterwards. We had to leave earlier, but I was also told my friends had a fry bar as well! Certainly a nice place for a Sunday wedding on Cinco De Mayo!
