She seemed nice at first, but as we got closer to closing on the house, her attitude toward me…read morechanged. It was like she knew I was more likely to trust her if she was friendly and polite right away...which is true, so she was, and I did. But after our first few conversations, her priority shifted away from impressing me and toward collecting her commission. The more I asked her questions, the more she behaved as though I was inconveniencing her. It was as though she thought she'd earned her commission from me as soon as I showed signs of following through with the loan process. I did finish the process and bought a house with a loan from this office, but only because I didn't want to have to start the process over somewhere else. By the time I realized what was happening to me, it was pretty far along already, and it would have cost me my own precious time to start over at my bank. But a big part of me regrets not just doing it. After being suckered in by a smiling face and then ushered out once the check cleared (so to speak), this lady -- Pegy Ayerrs -- will never see me again. I'm especially disturbed knowing that she is the branch manager of this office...I don't know who to complain to. Obviously it wouldn't do me a bit of good, and she'll get away with treating me like the source of income I apparently was. I just hope she never has the opportunity to do the same to you.
