I believe that the midwives here say they are holistic but in reality they aren't. Kate delivered…read moremy first baby and was always cold and very short responding to me when ever i had concerns about my birth and postpartum process. She and lonnie are very heartless and could care less about patients. They have time for certain patients and have more interest in what insurance people have than actually making their establishment better for new and expectant mothers. I will never go here again and have had a better experience and treatment with my second pregnancy with a more experienced midwife elsewhere. I won't recommend this place to anyone. Lonnie, Kate; Please take more time to be sympathetic to your patients, understanding, and practice what you preach! live up to the high standards of "reclaiming birth" that you all swear by when accepting new patients. Oh another thing is that the receptionist are into every patients personal business and really need to improve on their work ethic. They all seem miserable and have a weird "nice nasty" demeanor about them. To them and the midwives my baby and I were just another Number. Thank god i had great support outside of the childbirth center! That's the main reason my family is doing great today! Please if you can look elsewhere especially if you are a newly expectant mother I would highly recommend doing so.

Luckily the REAL OBGYN was able to diagnosed me properly. One thing to mention is when I was getting looked at, I specifically asked for an OB/GYN and they insisted on giving me a midwife who has no knowledge of that, of an OB/GYN. I thought I was initially going to see a professional OB/GYN, and when I told them I didn't have insurance all of a sudden she was unavailable!

I had a follow-up appointment today with Dina, whom I've been seeing since March for a PCOS…read morediagnosis, and this visit was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Since the beginning, I've been clear that I do not want to take birth control or metformin at this time, as I prefer to manage my symptoms through diet and exercise first. Despite repeatedly expressing this, Dina continues to push these medications at every visit. Today, she questioned my decision again, asking "Why don't you want to try metformin?" and "What's wrong with birth control???" -- even after I said no and explained my reasons. Throughout the appointment, she talked over me, dismissed my concerns, and spoke to me in a condescending tone. When I tried to ask about my recent results and why I kept having to come in for follow-ups, she told me not to "look at ChatGPT or Google" because she "studies textbooks" and is "in the field everyday" -- which was completely uncalled for. I was simply asking for clarification and for her to reference her own notes from previous visits. What made things worse was that after leaving the room, she spoke about me to other staff loud enough for patients to hear, which is incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. When I brought this to the office manager, Amber, she was equally dismissive and did nothing to address the issue -- even going so far as to tell me that "the doctor has the right to refuse service" and that I should find a different provider. After waiting nearly 45 minutes for my appointment, I left feeling disrespected, unheard, and deeply disappointed. I will absolutely be finding another OB/GYN, and I strongly urge all women to find another provider! I hope this office takes accountability for how their staff treats patients seeking care.
