This is one of the better OFF-LEASH dog parks in the area. It is large. The enclosed fence is very…read morehigh and secure. (even for dogs that are known to scale some high fences). The park has a double-gated entry. You must use a leash while entering/exiting the park. A maximum of two dogs per adult at one time is allowed inside the park. When other dogs are waiting, they ask that you limit your use to thirty (30) minutes. Owners must remain with their dogs at all times. For me, I use the dog park to allow my dog to run wild, exercise and play catch with me. I also use it for him to socialize with other dogs. However, I don't like dog parks that allow multiple dogs (either does my dog) so the two dog rule is perfect for us. They have dog poop trash cans and bags for animal waste disposable. CONS: A permit is required for use of the park (annual fee is $25) and the rules are quite strict (http://tinyurl.com/mocahjx). For me, this is a PRO because it helps keep out the riff-raff. Though, not sure how many people actually have permits. I would give a 5 star rating but the last time I visited the park I found a few pot-holes in the ground (dog could break a leg). Hopefully the township fixes them soon.

I'm sure the playground is just fine here, but the dog park is sad. It's a big rectangle of grass…read morewith a fence. No water source, no shade, just fenced in grass. There's apparently a membership you have to buy, too. There's at least one nicer dog park in spitting distance, though maybe this one is helpful if you live in the development.

Soo close to 5 stars!!!…read more I've / we've been coming to this park for years upon years. It's across from a really nice neighborhood and a great shopping center (Tori's, Coppolla's, Shoprite, CardSmart, GNC, etc). I have such fond memories :) Pre-children, I'd come here and walk around for exercise. I'd sometimes drag my mom or best friend. Post kids, I'd pack the 'shrimps' in their double stroller and walk around. As they got older, they'd swing and play on the playground equipment (and never want to leave!). The park is very pleasant overall - there is an extensive playgound set, a huge field (softball, playing catch, frisbee, etc.), a few picnic tables, two basketball courts and a large gazebo. I've rented out the gazebo at least twice for birthday parties. It's $30 for Glo Twp residents and IDK for non-residents. You have to provide and decorate everything. (When we had parties, I'd always bring a radio and chalk too). Everyone always enjoyed when we celebrated here! What I really appreciate is that you are across from a video survellienced police station plus Mister Softee and Blue Bunny make their rounds in the spring and summer! (only negatives - stinky port-o-potties and it's sometimes hard to see your children through the closely spaced equipment bars)

The half mile "walking trail" which many people run is cool with small inclines for the additional burn. There are charging stations and a good amount of shade. My children love this park because of the 3 separate playgrounds for all ages. There is plenty of seating for parents and a large field for random play. The two basketball courts are decent. I find parking can be difficult at times but mostly it's good. The police station and court house are right next door.

Intro to Rock Climbing with Valley to Summit on September 18, 2022…read more This was my second trip to Chickies Rock with VTS and it was wonderful! There were only 5 of us, so plenty of time to climb. Our Guide, Bob, was so patient, engaged and informative. I learned a lot of great things that I had not known before about clothing, ropes and technique. Bob was so patient with me and was there with his " green pointer" to help me over the tough spots. You should know that I am 74 years old and tho I have climbed indoors for a few years, my stamina was not that of the youngsters who were there! Nonetheless, it was a great time! I highly recommend Valley to Summit, this being my 3 rd trip with them. They Rock!

Absolutely amazing professional guides!!…read more I hired this company to guide me through the winters treacherous water fall trails of Ricketts Glen that is normally closed off for hikers that don't have the explicitly specific required safety gear for winter hikes which this company provides. The guides were patient and helpful with the small group in getting gear on and going over all the safety equipment. They were never impatient with anyone and insanely kind. You could tell the guides truly enjoyed bringing everyone out to this amazing trail at Ricketts Glen State Park. I wasn't sure what to expect but OMG it was worth the money spent to have these guys/gals guide me through the trails. I took tons of pictures and was never rushed at all while taking in the views and photos. This company comes highly recommended amongst the hiking community even out of state.

The park has some tunnels and ramps for cuties to play on. It's locked up nicely - we felt that the boys were safe and secure. We stayed about 20 minutes. (we cleaned up the poop, but apparently others did not - nasty!) We'll visit a few times again before our dog-sitting is over.

Wanted to take the 2 pups out for a playful time to burn some energy. Decided to research dog parks…read morein the local area and found this spot. Tucked away in a residential area with a backdrop of a wooded area this small dog park was an adequate find. I was hoping there would be other pet owners and their small 4 legged tikes but no luck today. It was only me and the pups. A fenced in dog park with chipped wood as the ground surface area which one of my pups found appetizing. As the photos show its a small dog park that even with a small dogs doesn't have a lot to offer. The pups enjoyed sniffing around the park several times and got exercise as I threw a tennis ball on the elevated slope multiple times. I think larger dogs would not get much out of this park and must be catered more to the medium to smaller dogs due to it small size. Not a great park nor a bad park just an okay park and would recommend for smaller dogs. In addition, if you want your small dog(s) to be socialized, you must come when there are more pet owners here and I am unsure of when that is. Clearly, not mid days on Saturdays....
