The perfect park! This huge, well-maintained, park is right behind Camden County College in Blackwood (NJ) and is huge. There are many playground equipment areas (at least 4) for the little ones, that my kids used to have a ball on years ago, a few gazebos, a rock wall, a tennis court, a few basketball courts (which we were here for today), soccer fields and many walking trails winding all around the park. One of the gazebos is right next to one of the (for the younger children / babies) playground areas - I don't think you have to even rent it. There was a birthday party going on this particular GORGEOUS spring day in April. There are police cars patrolling periodically, which I like and appreciate - oh, and even a K9 Memorial (I love dogs and most animals). Lastly, the park is very clean and the rest rooms are open during the spring and summer hours. It closes at dusk. We will be frequenting this park a lot more this spring and summer :)

This place is huge! Everything is clean, well maintained and there is plenty of parking. The playground is a nice distraction for the little ones while the older kids are playing baseball, soccer, field hockey or any of the other sports that play here. An excellent place for an out-of-town tournament and kudos to the township for making such a beautiful space for the community.

    Kids play feature.

I bring my kids here frequently. There are activities for all ages here. There are 2 big play areas for older kids. One play area just for toddlers, which is padded. In addition, there are tennis, and basket courts. I enjoy using the walking track around the park as well as around the soccer field. The park is always clean and safe. There is also a bathroom near the biggest play ground, which is a huge plus.

Open just 3 days a week for 6 weeks in the summer, it's completely free for kids 12 and under only. (8 and under on Tuesdays). It used to be a sanitarium & still serves as a place for kids to play, relax and eat free soup at noon. Seriously. It's been open for basically ever & is kind of a local secret. Unless you are a carousel expert, then you would know about their famous Ferrari carousel that is still operating and worth a trip just to experience alone. Look up the history online for an interesting story. The grounds are large enough for some soccer games etc. & I saw what looks like a volleyball court there too. There are old trees scattered around, so you can set yourself up with a blanket & camp chairs in the shade if you'd like. Or there are 3 large pavilions and multitudes of picnic tables all over the place. I also saw people with coolers of their own food. A huge slide, swimming and wading pools, free lunch at noon, plus snacks at 10 & 2, a playground, tons of swing sets and even old-school wooden see-saws = happy kids. http://southjerseyexplorer.com/2013/05/06/soupy-island-revisited/

There were some shops in the front and a couple of food trucks, for additional cost of course. There was also an ice skating rink, which also cost extra. Towards the back there is a little face-painting shack with another long line and... you guessed it... costs extra. At the center, there was a free small carousel with a long line. There were a couple of carnival type games in the back, which used to give out cheap prizes, but I guess they don't do that anymore. Outside of that, there is nothing to do, and the kids wanted to leave. We went into the tent and it was disorganized and overcrowded. Their balloon drop was a cluster of balloons balled up in a small area of the tent which everyone tried to cram up underneath, but only about 2 dozen kids could fit under it. There was no live band on the stage, even though they happily charged extra to rent out the igloos, where I guess you can sit and look at an empty stage. You have to walk through the mud to get to the igloos, or to use the bathrooms. So for $100 we listened to "baby shark" playing in the tent, watched about a hundred balloons drop at noon, and walked around. Everything is an additional charge, and I didn't see much value in the $20/person that we spent. I felt bad watching a larger group that was coming in as we were leaving, and felt like warning them. Disappointing after this property was overhyped years ago during construction, and just seems like it was never fully completed. Not sure who this venue is marketed to, but I didn't see many adults or kids having a good time. I don't see us coming back here again.

Pretty decent price for entry as well! The food was definitely better than average amusement park food! He's a child who loves anything involving vehicles. This is the only Diggerland in the United States, so it's really rare, and therefore a special treat to give to my nephew who could enjoy a unique experience at a park catered to his interests. On March 29th, 2025, I went with him and my mother to Diggerland; the Spring day pass tickets costed $137.97 for three people, and that did not include the water park since it is closed until the summer season. We arrived at 12pm and left around 4pm, and during the entirety of our visit, I never felt like it got super crowded. The park has several rides that accommodate large groups, so it makes the lines very short. Even if it looks long at first, give it a couple minutes and soon enough, you will be seated with the other 13 people waiting in line with you. Majority of rides involve sitting in a construction vehicle, being either driven or lifted in the air, which is as mild of fun as it gets. There is also an arcade, but I recommend avoiding that if you want to save money. This park is fitting for families with small children, the elderly, or those who have a low tolerance for extreme thrills. For me, I could've used some more excitement. My 5-year old nephew, who's not a big risk taker, went on rides that as one operator put it, is so boring that it, "puts kids to sleep." It's great for the views of the park, but getting your heart racing is another story. I still had fun, but more so because I liked seeing my nephew enjoy himself. His favorite quote-on-quote "ride" was the 'Hook & Ladder' where he could explore different trucks, including a firetruck and an ambulance. As for my favorite ride, it was the 'Spin Dizzy' where you're spun around in the air by a JCB. The food and drinks tasted good; I tried their chicken nuggets and fries with freshly squeezed lemonade. Careful though, the lemonade is so fresh that they put two half lemons in the drinks. I noticed this after I was caught off guard by lemon seeds being sucked through my straw. The bathrooms were clean and abundant, with wheelchair accessible ramps. The parking lot is free and has ample spaces to choose from. In order to leave the park, you must exit through their gift shop, which is as blatant of a tourist trap as I've ever seen. However, if you wish to re-enter the park, you can do so by getting your hand stamped by an employee before exiting the gift shop. Then you'll show that stamp at the entrance; this is helpful in cases like ours where we wanted to save the food we bought for later and left it in the car so it wouldn't be a hindrance when we got on rides. So would I recommend this place? Yes, but for specific groups of people. As said earlier, this would bring the most joy to those with small children who are experiencing rides for the first time, older people that don't want to be tossed around like they would on a roller coaster, and people in general who would rather embrace the gentle breeze of the air rather than it getting whipped in their face. As a young adult who enjoys coasters, I felt unfulfilled in my quest for excitement, but if this visit brought a smile to my nephew's face, then the experience was worth it.

As a BUSINESS, these people have A LOT of room for improvement. We just had our daughters 4th birthday here, and let me count the ways in which things could have been so much better. First, THEY. DO. NOT. PICK. UP. THE. PHONE. And don't bother leaving a message, they won't call you back. I literally must have called them about 15 times, and they answered ONCE, and called me back ONCE. They are a NIGHTMARE to communicate with. Secondly, if you DO get a hold of them, prepare to be nickel and dimed to death; or more accurately, 50 dollar to 100 dollared to death, as this place is EXPENSIVE. You want to bring your own decor? $10 bucks. Put stuff on the walls with tacky putty only? $5 Want them to drop balloons? $50. Fill up balloons? $5 a balloon. There is absolutely no outside food allowed, (except your own cake, confusingly), but you can bring your own food, for a $75 dollar fee. About their food; you get 2 kid cut slices of pizza per kid, and 2 pitchers of juice or soda. Oh, you want water because your kids don't drink sugary drinks? Too bad. They refused to give us TAP. WATER. They straight up said "no." They said we could buy water for the kids, $1 a bottle. A CASE of 48 bottles is $4; you want to charge me 3x more for 1/3 as much?! (Also, you can't bring in a case of water.) Is your kid diabetic? Celiacs disease? Sensory issues? Kosher? Tough crap. You eat their food, or pay the $75 to bring yours. We ordered a hoagie tray from them for the adults, and it was SEVENTY TWO DOLLARS, for 3 wawa-esque hoagies. I've never felt more ripped off in my life. THEN, they automatically add 18% gratuity, (and a $40 photo package), but they will take it off, if in front of the entire staff and all of your guests, you state that you want it off. (They settle the bill in the main room as everyone is leaving.) The place is fine, if a little hard to find, and a little rough around the edges, but having a party here is something I'm glad that I'll never have to do again. Our bill was almost EIGHT. HUNDRED. DOLLARS. That's for 2 hours. It's a great racket for them. I recommend for open jump, but unless your pockets are deep, and you don't mind wrapping everything up in one phone call, then don't have a party here.

They offer finger foods like pizza, wings, and mozzarella sticks. You can have a party in their party rooms. The party rooms are time limited (about two hours or less), and while the staff isn't rude, they do come in frequently to remind you how much time is left. It makes the transition feel a little rushed. Once your time is up, you're kindly moved out. There is seating outside the party rooms, but there aren't enough tables to comfortably accommodate everyone. They do have lockers for your belongings, a small arcade area, and separate trampoline sections based on age, which is a big plus for safety. The food was average at best. The pizza wasn't great, and the mozzarella sticks were just okay like pre- frozen. Another downside is the parking lot. The plaza also has a Chuck E. Cheese, a nail spa, and an Olive Garden, so parking can be pretty chaotic especially on weekends when birthday parties are happening everywhere. Overall, it's fine if you just want to bring kids to jump and burn energy. Personally, I wouldn't choose it as a party venue because the time feels limited and rushed.
