I was arrested for a DUI in 2024. I blew into the police officer's portable breathalyzer machine three times over 45 minutes and registered at 0.00 each time. It was 7:00 A.M., I had not been drinking and I'm not even a big drinker. My issue was I had taken an Ambien 7 hours prior and should have waited 8 hours. My mistake and I deeply regret it. Mr. Lehr said he was in the process of writing his second book about driving under the influence of Ambien. Impressive but deceiving. Mr. Lehr did NOTHING for me except invoice me. He didn't even show up to court. He sent an associate who is probably in his mid 80's. I was charged to the fullest extent. 20 days in Jail, classes, interlock machine in my car for 24 month and I wasn't even drinking, fines, fees etc. In addition to excessive fines, higher insurance rates for auto insurance, higher insurance rates for my airplane insurance, higher insurance for my architectural license and so on ....... All combined I have paid over $50,000.00! Not including David's $5000.00 fee. I have an IQ in excess of 160 and thought I can understand difficult situations but I was 100% wrong. If you hire David Lehr there are two things that could happen to you. 1. You will pay $5,000.00 (Minimum) for his excessive fee.! 2. YOU WILL GO TO JAIL!! FAST FACT: In jail I was beat up by two inmates and lost my front teeth for not giving out my lunch. On another occasion, I had a pencil stabbed into my leg. I lost 20 pounds in 20 days and threatened to go to the "Hole" by the guards for not wearing my socks. If you think it's not dangerous in the Ventura County jail, please think again. David is genuine. Attorneys can be scary people to speak/meet with but he is not the typical stuffy asshat you might expect from watching an episode of law and order. My Name is Sean Mulvey Mr Lear Miraculously Remembers What he forgot and wants a private audience well it's time for people to just report the FACTS when lawyers don't do what they say. Yes I had the other case in La With another Lawer who gave me 120 days to come back if Ventura tried to consecutive my sentence. You told them and they said ok I then waved time because you said it was ok and they originally sentenced me as our deal said then they called me back that afternoon you sent someone from your office down because you were in trial. I was upset only barely heard them got a hold of you you saw me and told me not to worry you had 120 days and did not need me there. If you would have said to contact My other Lawyer I would have and he would have called me back to LA for resentencing but you said no problem you would handle it. Then 4years later you forgot and wanted confirmation about the other deal from the other lawyers before you would go back to court! Now all of a sudden you have notes? What ever you blew me off and did not do as you promised and make them honor our deal. Second of all please show me a contract for payment beyond our original payment of 5000 dollars to cut a deal that another Lawyer represented me on for the first couple of years. You said you would want more money if we went to trial we never went to trial yet you send me a bill like we did when you never finished making them honor the deal that you negotiated for me. The deal that I took under duress because I only had so much time to go back to LA if Ventura tried to resentence me on my LA case to 1/3 the mid consecutive instead of 1/3 the mid on there cases. once again you told me go to prison it would be easy for you and you would handle it. My mistake was trusting you to do as you promised. Unfortunately I was not able to contact you from prison until they came up with the free phone calls program. David even asked me if I had a illegal cell phone not use to people from prison getting a hold of him? Who knows. read more

If you want to go to jail then David Lehr is the attorney for you! After hiring him I was slightly skeptical because of his condescending attitude but I was desperate and in a rush to find a lawyer and he assured he would fight for me. As soon as I pulled out the cash to pay him his face lit up and was just happy to be getting paid (as I'm sure he rarely gets new clients). After having him as my attorney for a couple months I considered changing attorneys because I noticed he was putting ZERO effort into my case. Half of the time he would just have his assistant, Rachel (who is INCREDIBLY rude) go into the court house for him. I didn't hire her to represent me, I hired him. After realizing he did absolutely nothing to defend me or fight my case I realized I would have been better off with a public defendant. He is VERY rude and has a chip on his shoulder. STAY AWAY from David Lehr unless you enjoy spending time in jail. He constantly made false promises that never went through and I am now having to go to jail for 60 days because of a DUI. I just want people to know my experience with him so they can avoid the same nightmare he put me through. All of his staff is very rude and they never let me know when my court dates were and they never told me what was going to happen next. I was on the edge the entire time because I had no idea what was going to happen due to lack of knowledge about my case. He is impossible to get ahold of, I would text him multiple times and he would never respond or call when I needed him. If I could go back in time I would have never wasted my money on his terrible service. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from him. He will bring you sleepless nights and he will never tell you when you're supposed to be in court. I just fired him and found a new lawyer who is absolutely amazing and he found a way to put me in a jail that's in another county so I can continue my life and I won't be spending 24/7 in jail.
