If you are a female, I would recommend bringing a friend or family - member with you to stay with you at all times. Although David is an amazing photographer, every time I used his services I was sexually harassed; he is quite brazen really - even adding me on social media accounts and continuing it on there, dismissing his wife or, on some occasions, talking poorly of her. I am not the first one to complain about David's unprofessionalism and I will not be the last. Every encounter with David was intimidating and uncomfortable and I am happy to hear I am not the only one who has experienced this. Good luck! read more

ive been to david twice now, quite a few years apart, for actors headshots and they both turned out brilliantly. i even had a few from which to choose each time. if you are going to go for a headshot session he might very well photograph you in his studio, with lots of light, high ceilings, great textural surroundings in the background or he might whisk you outside to some back alley/industrial spot to shoot a roll or two. basically if you allow him to lead, he will. in the best way possible, i say, hes a nutbar. theres no way he could possibly be offended by this comment, considering the promotional video he has on his website. in addition to headshots, david is quite well known as a photographer - ive spotted him a few times at the molson amphitheatre covering the stars. in terms of cost, for headshots its not cheap, but you wont be disappointed. just check out his site and see for yourself. its all in the pixels. read more

Okay photos, but is unprofessional and inappropriate. The work is merely okay. There are plenty who do as well or better.

David is the best. I shot with many photographers before him and had a hard time selecting a shot that I considered good enough to use to represent me, David's shots gave me so many great options I have a hard time narrowing it down to one or two. David has ways to keep you relaxed and gets the best out of you. I've now used him more than once, and he is the only person I will go to. Since I started using him to do my headshots, the amount of auditions I get in a year more than doubled. It's amazing how much of a difference a good headshot makes. If you're serious about acting and want to book work, you need to be seen, headshots are the way in the door, a good shot will get you in the audition room, a bad or mediocre shot wont. David's shots get you seen... actually, scratch that, do a selfie, or go to someone who is not David... less competition for me. read more

The reviewer who called David unprofessional clearly did not understand the strategy of his incessant talking. He jabbers to distract you from feeling self-conscious in front of the camera. Exhausting, yes, but the method of his madness shows in the phenomenal pictures he takes. He is generous to a fault in what he offers, and my biggest problem was narrowing down my choices. Sheesh.
