No explanation of why or what services I never paid for (they collect payment before they do the service every time). I called the number the email they told me to on the email, and it said it wasnt in service and to call the main number. I call the main number and they said they are just messengers and cant help me and they needed to i needed to call the billing dept. and gave they gave me the number that was disconnected. The staff is helpful and responsive, and it was easy to book an appointment and fill out the forms. The location was convenient to my work and was clean and welcoming. What I appreciated most about Dr. Gohel and his staff is I received a thorough examination. Dr. Gohel patiently talked me through what he observed and possible courses of action. They used high-resolution photographs of my teeth and gums and put them up on the big screen so he could show me exactly what he was talking about. I'm accustomed to seeing black and white X-rays at the dentist where I can't really tell what a slight grey spot might mean. The photos were helpful and easy to see what the doctor was talking about. I didn't feel any rush when talking to Dr. Gohel and asking questions (I had a few since this was my first time ever seeing a periodontist). I didn't feel pressured to commit to any course of action. I felt I was just receiving the doctor's expert advise and analysis with options laid out for me. That's exactly what I wanted. Except that she wanted me to schedule the surgery IMMEDIATELY! Keep in mind this a very very expensive procedure... A second opinion proved that she was just lying through her teeth. Unfortunately, the experience with the Waldorf office staff was the opposite. From the beginning, the staff repeatedly told me that my insurance would not cover the exam and tried to push me to pay out of pocket. When I attempted to pay, their card machine was not working. I agreed to pay over the phone later since I did not have my physical card with me and usually use Apple Pay. I was also told that the procedure I needed would not be covered by my insurance. When I left, I was given what I thought was my receipt. Shortly after, the receptionist called and informed me that she had accidentally given me another patient's receipt that contained all of their personally identifiable information. We agreed she would come by my home to pick it up and provide me with the correct receipt since she lived close by. I was told the fee would be waived because of the inconvenience. However, that same fee was later processed and paid by my insurance company -- the same fee the office said would not be covered. Afterward, I called my insurance company about the other procedure and learned that it is actually covered at 50%. When I called the dental office back to ask them to submit it for pre-approval, the receptionist was adamant that she was not submitting anything to the insurance and insisted that I get confirmation in writing from my insurance first, as if submitting a claim would cost the office something. Dr. Smith himself was great, but the front office experience was frustrating, inaccurate regarding insurance coverage, and concerning given the mishandling of another patient's personal information.

I have a multitude of dental procedure related trauma and even cleanings are painful on my very sensitive teeth. Dr. Rick let me meander about every negative experience and all of my needs without judgement. He was extremely gentle, checked in constantly to make sure he wasn't hurting me, and had the decency to remove his hands and instruments from my mouth when he wanted me to answer a question.
