At first speechless, I sat there and then repeated everything I'd written--my medical saga. After my story (which he should've known), he recommended an injection (an "epidural," he explained after I said I thought those were for women in labor). No, he said. Okay, I then asked, "Does it contain Cortisone?" YES, he replied. I was stunned. He was getting ready to inject me with a drug listed as one of my two allergies. He hadn't even bothered to look. What kind of doctor would be so negligent? If I could give less than one star, I would. Run, don't walk, from this doctor.

Dr Nicholas has been my primary dr for over 10 years. Super responsive and either a great memory or great notes. Either way he makes you feel like you are an important patient.

I told him what my job was telling me was acceptable, how I needed some extra breaks in between being screamed at by customers and that since I was grieving and had a new family crisis and death I needed some more time off work in addition to postpartum depression and anxiety. He got upset with me when I missed an appointment. His adhd, sleep deprived patient who was already fighting for her life missed an appointment and he immediately defaulted to being frustrated with me the next time I saw him. And then he told me "I will tell your job that you need these extra breaks and that once a month you need to call out for a mental health day no problem" SO I DID JUST THAT. I called out and I waited on the accommodations to come through my companies leave and accommodations department. But that never happened. Instead I get a phone call WEEKS later from Dr. Cheema. Where he apologizes for LYING TO ME and says he will only agree to the breaks. Getting me in trouble with my job for no good reason. I've had 5 deaths in the past few years on top of 2 births that both came with postpartum issues. He knew I was struggling and gaining an excessive amount of weight. My heart rate was an issue, and I was being monitored with the meds he prescribed. On top of this he had the audacity to call me out for missing an appointment ? When I would be waiting 30-45 minutes PAST my appointment time on a regular basis with no penalty or monetary benefit from him.... He wants to require payment if I miss it if I'm late but what about when HE IS LATE... nothing. After he admitted lying to me and he left me hanging high and dry in the middle of a crisis I sought help elsewhere. I found someone else who knew exactly what I needed and had no problem telling my job that I needed breaks and a day off from the abuse that came with the job. "I'm not sure why you're not answering my calls" uhhh... maybe because your husband is a liar and predatory on people who truly need help? Let's chalk the money I "owe" you on services NOT RENDERED.
