Whether it was Mal helping my wife while she was getting ready, or Alex helping close the tent walls during the reception and so much more. And none of that was their responsibility, but it certainly made a huge difference! We had so many people tell us just how awesome they were! When it comes to photography, Alex and Mal are hands down the best of the best. During engagement photos, they made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and had the most creative ideas for what would make the best photos. The same goes for our wedding photos and video. All three of them were very punctual and organized on our wedding day. At times, I felt they were doing more to keep everything on schedule than our wedding planner. Just like the engagement photos, the wedding photos blew us away with how amazing they turned out. Alex and Mal will always be our go to photographers for any future family events or needs! If you are able to splurge a little, definitely have Alex partner with Jorge for the videography. You will not be disappointed, and every dollar will be worth it! Usually you would have to secure a maternity and newborn photographer well before you become 6 months pregnant. But when I contacted her, she was more then able to fit me in her schedule. That's amazing in and of itself. When it was time for our session, Brittany was so nice and patient with our 3 yr old and was so gentle and caring with our newborn. She didn't rush through our session and really took her time with our newborn. I must say that our newborn was in baby heaven, because she was able to bend him in all kinds of cute poses without a peep from him. She keeps the room warm to their liking as well as having a sound machine going during our entire session to keep babies as calm as possible. Upon initial contact with Brittany to inform her of our intent to have a newborn session when our little girl arrives, she immediately established and continuously maintained communication to keep us informed and on track with our session planning. Her registration and deposit payment process was seamless and effortless as well, which made the process of planning easy on us as we were already so busy with preparing for our baby's arrival. My favorite part about the registration process was the video welcome we received. That kind of personal interaction is so rare these days, and the time devoted to us as individual clients was greatly appreciated! She also provided us with instructions and guidance on how to prepare for our session, and that ended up being priceless! On the day of our session, Brittany arrived right on time, gave us a great walkthrough of the process, and even took some time to hold and get to know our little girl. Once at ease, she quickly went to work getting our photo session rooms/backdrop in order. While we were so nervous about having poor lighting in our bedrooms, Brittany worked some amazing magic with her equipment to make the rooms vibrant and warm - perfect for the photo session. The care and tenderness she showed to our little girl was amazing, too. She was gentle, patient, and understanding for any crying, whining, and even dirty diapers! Maggie was a superstar on our wedding day! We both have huge families and so our wedding was a…read morelarge affair with lots of personalities and moving parts. We really wanted a photographer who could help with the flow of the day, rather than be another part in the craziness. Maggie did just this - she got our pictures with our large family quickly and easily, all while making sure everyone had a good time, wasn't waiting around, and felt like a model. We also fell in love with her photos as soon as we saw them on Instagram, and we knew we had to have her travel to us. Sometimes paying for wedding photographers to travel can be expensive and confusing, but Maggie is so trustworthy that we had zero doubts about the value she could bring to our day.
