I went to Dr.Sycamore since had recurring sinus infections so he took a look and scheduled a surgery to remove my polyps since that was an issue per his diagnosis. Well after my surgery I've started having severe infections and pain and he wasn't sure why? I ended up with another surgery in a month and thanks God another Doctor saved me because I ended up loosing smell of taste and smell after Dr Sycamore surgery as well. Another Doctor in a month completed another surgery and guess what he had to do? He had to remove the polyps that Dr Sycamore left since polyps don't grow in a month. Another Doctor fixed an issue with polyps and also I got my smell and taste back. I would never recommend Dr Sycamore! Period! read more

My experience was outstanding from start to finish! About a year ago I had a peritonsillar abscess and Dr. Sycamore was the man for the job. After going to ERs/ENTs Memorial Hermann recommended doctor Sycamore. He identified the issue, explain what was going on and he got straight to business. He was patient, understanding, and gentle in a scary situation. He removed a peritonsillar abscess and had me back on my feet in no time.I'm not sure why some of the post here are negative however I assure you mine was over and above. I have referred many friends and family to Dr. sycamore. From this point forward he will be my ENT and they recommend that you give him a try! read more

Where to begin? Seemed knowledgeable and experienced but 90 days post-op and the treated condition has returned. Not entirely the doc's fault, but disappointing. Biggest issue is business office and billing company. After having been pre-approved by the insurance carrier weeks prior we were required to rush to the office at 4:45pm and remit payment or the doc would not operate the following day. Now 4 mos later still waiting to be reimbursed $1,400. So avoidable. No apologies just excuses. read more

If I could have rated a 0 i would have. This is the most unprofessional medical staff I have ever encountered. First, let me begin with the front office staff. Not only do they talk about the patients where other patients waiting can hear, but they also make fun of them. I felt embarrassed for the patients they had been talking about when they walked in to the waiting room. Secondly, Dr. Sycamore has the worst bed side manner of any doctor (person) I know. He makes his patients feel stupid and ignorant. He may be a very smart doctor but because of his disposition one would never know. read more

Dr. Sycamore gave me an incorrect diagnosis. I got a second opinion and the second doctor agreed I had been misdiagnosed. Dr. Sycamore didn't seem to care how much pain I was in and he told me to wait another 5 days before he would give me antibiotics. If I had taken his advice, I probably would have had to be admitted to the hospital. read more
