You can make an appointment online to have your jewelry fixed or cleaned which always makes things easier if you are tight on time. I was looking for a certain DY Evil Eye design necklace to buy as a present. I called the store to inquire, and a friendly kind salesperson named Susan told me that they didn't have it in stock but promised to get it in a few days time, with no obligation to buy. Susan texted me when the necklace came in as promised, and had it all ready for me to look at when I came in to the store. We exchanged pleasantries, completed the sale and I was out of the store quickly. Excellent experience all around. This DY store is modern and clean with good vibes and a small seating area in the front. While waiting I saw several other clients come in for cleaning their DY pieces and they were served promptly as well. As of this review the store has reopened. The website is incorrect - their hours begin at 11am, not 10am as the official site states. I reserved a ring online and it was ready at the store. The lady who helped me was super friendly and helpful. She offered many options, though when I shared that I was looking for something more simple the message was received respectfully. I didn't feel any sort of snottiness amongst the staff, which unfortunately I have come to expect from many high end stores. This made me feel a lot more comfortable. read more

Second time at this store. Mario B is a delight to work with. He is so friendly and full of energy. Showed us a few things and when I found what I liked he said fabulous! Also cleaned my other David Yurman jewelry while we waited. Would definitely go back there and see Mario. Nancy (store mgr.) came over to meet us and was super nice too. I know jewelry so when it came time to select a gift for my boyfriend, after considering John Hardy, Scott Kay, and David Yurman, I went with Yurman. I've been hunting down a 20" box chain which brought me to this particular location. I may as well have walked in waving a credit card because that's how ready to buy I was. Not one salesperson batted an eye. As a matter of fact, 3 were gathered in a corner chirping away at whatever. I asked nicely if they had any box chains as none were displayed...and one of the birds remarked to me, "And if we don't have it, we'll make it" in a way that sounded a lot like the Wicked Witch of the West. The woman who then wound up helping me did it like she was doing me a favor. Needless to say, they were out of the piece, out of a sale, and I walked out without a present, disappointed...and upset at the rude behavior. I wouldn't call this store handicapped accessible, but you may be able to fit a chair in. Just don't expect them to assist you! :/ read more

UPDATE: Headed back to have my ring sized, and the customer service had improved markedly, both when I dropped it off, and when I picked it up during the week. I was also within the period when I could have it sized free of charge, a nice surprise! They showed me everything about my ring, made sure it fit properly, and that I was happy - which I was, extremely so. They also encouraged me to stop by and have it cleaned, again, for free, whenever I found myself in the area. The whole sizing experience really made me consider returning for another piece in the future. Additionally, the ring itself is gorgeous, fits wonderfully, and is very comfortable a month into wearing it - I hardly ever take it off. Satisfied customer. ORIGINAL REVIEW: We visited thrice to pick out a (my) ladies wedding band. The first trip was pretty great - the sales associate (whose name escapes me, but I think it was Alisha - I'm sorry!) was super helpful, and wrote down everything we needed so we could continue shopping. Great! Went back the second time, and was met with sloooowwwww service. OK, it was a weekend, we get it, you're busy. Loved the ring, got sized, ordered it, boom. Returned to pick up said ring, having called ahead to make sure things were ready, and they couldn't find it when I got there. So, I stood around for ten minutes or so, when they came back and asked if it had already been picked up...uhh...I just handed you the receipt to pick it up, and said I was here to pick it up, so...no, it has not yet been picked up. Finally, they produced it, packaged in box and bag, and asked me to sign for it. I politely made sure the ring WAS in the box and DID fit before signing (which I kind of figured they would have/should have done), and then I inquired about the appraisal we requested when we placed the order. Was told it will be mailed to us. OK. It was, but valued at less than what we actually paid for it. Awesome. They also have signs all over the store stating that they don't refund for returns, only for exchanges or store credit which, according to the website, is just plain false (within 14 days = refund, after 14 days = exchange/store credit). read more

I must not have been in this location in a while because a lot of new collections and displays were added. Waking in, I'm always greeted by a friendly face which is a big difference from the Tiffanys down the road. I had walked in last week around what I guess was prime time and everyone was assisting someone. A nice girl welcomed me while with her people. I continued looking around to familiarize myself with the new collections. She approached me to ask if I needed assistance to see if she can pull anyone from the back. I told her it was okay to take their time. Honestly, I just wanted to look at the new pieces, not buying. But I felt so comfortable from beginning to end coming in here. I mistakenly ordered the wrong initial when purchasing a beautiful initial necklace in 18k gold for a Christening. I received the original order on Wednesday and the Christening was Saturday. In a panic I contacted David Yurman and spoke with Shingo Dobkin, a Customer Care Specialist. He was more than happy to help out. He credited the initial purchase, even though it was originally through a gift card, and offered to ship the correct necklace overnight in time for the Christening on Saturday. Shingo was a pleasure to work with -- personable, calm, reassuring, helpful and happy to go the extra mile for this once in a lifetime occasion. Nice layout , attentive service , watch out for the lie they tell customers in regards return policy! Also not valid have a sign up of exchange only merchandise credit . Corporate David Yurman is reprimanding their stores for misleading customer when the return policy is 14 days. I had this problem yesterday I loved two pieces and didn't have a lot of time. I was undecided among two pieces of jewlely I would have appreciated the correct information when I was there instead leaving empty handed. Thinking in that moment exchange no refunds. I was told by three employees no refunds only merchandise credit. Only when I addressed the policy when I was leaving the manager shifted her words. I told her I know policy from corporate, it changed Few months ago. If I would of know that I would of have bought both pieces and decided in the comfort of my own home. The store iteself is beautiful and they are very stocked, I have rarely ever been there where they didn't have a piece I was interested in, unless it was super new or a holiday had just passed. Julie and Wendy are my 2 favorite sales reps. They are amazing and will treat you like a friend not a customer. I have never been disappointed in the years I have been coming in here, and the people that are should speak their mind while in the store and I am sure the sales reps would go the mile to satisfy your needs. read more

The first time I went into this David Yurman, my sister and I weren't even welcomed, and when we asked to see the petite albion ring, the women barely said any words to us, we followed her to the case, she pointed to it, and didn't seem to care if we needed any further help. Months later, I come back because I received the ring as a gift. The size was a 7, which is usually my size, but it felt big. When I asked to try on the half size below, he gave me attitude, asking where I got the ring from. When I proceed to tell him I got it from Bloomingdales, he asked me why I didnt go back there. When I told him that they didn't carry my size, he gave an attitude saying that they could of ordered it. (but I wanted the ring asap so I didn't want to special order). He gave the half size smaller, which was a HUGE difference in size- now way too small. I left- with no new ring- but confused as to how it was such a difference. I called another location in nyc, and they told me that theres no way there would be such a huge difference in size from a 6.5-7. So, the guy lied to me just because he didn't wanna deal with it I guess. But this was the second time I came to this location with absolutely horrible service. I work in retail- a jewelry store as well- and I know how to speak to, and deal with customers, and they definitely do not know how to do that here.
