Customer service was fantastic! The initial wedding dress purchased was a beautiful fitted gown that was everything I had ever dreamed of wearing :) About 6 months after I purchased the dress, I found out that even after numerous doctors told me how unlikely it was for me to ever conceive, I was pregnant with our Miracle baby!! David's Bridal considered the circumstances around the matter and said that they would consider doing an exchange due to the fact that they'd rather see a Bride happy and with a dress that would fit comfortably rather than having a Bride scramble and pay for an additional dress since the exchange deadline has passed. I took my dress in, the ladies looked it over and seen that there was no damage, no pet hair, no stains, etc., and allowed me to exchange the dress! While thinking there would be no way I would find anything like my first dress, my consultant found me the most perfect dress and I loved it even more than the initial one I had picked!! I purchased it 2 sizes to big so that there was room for the baby to grow which meant that alterations were most definitely going to be required. When I reached that point, Lucy in alterations made sure I loved the dress and made all adjustments that I requested in order to make the dress perfect for my bump! This past Wednesday I went to pick up my dress and Lucy and another lady in alterations made very minor adjustments before I took it home so that it was perfect for my big day next weekend! Thank you so much to everyone at David's Bridal in Cambridge for your time, your effort, and your professionalism. Every Bride should go to this location, they treat every dress as if it were their own! All of your wedding dress stresses will be washed away once you enter this location. Thank you David's Bridal for a fabulous experience!! My daughter chose to go to you first to try on wedding dresses for her special day and we were so incredibly thankful that she did! The store is so organized and clean, and the staff are very professional. Sarah was amazing! So attentive and made my daughter feel so special, really listening to what she wanted and going the extra mile to make her feel special. David's Bridal has modern and up to date dresses to choose from that are so well priced! We had an appointment with Sophie's in Kitchener afterwards and were shocked that the incredible service we experienced at David's Bridal was not shown here as well. My daughter was told very rudely that she would not be able to find a dress within her budget but "she would see what she could find" and was left, even though we had an appointment, to fit into the dresses herself. Needless to say we did not stay long and left very unimpressed. We were very thankful that our first experience was with David's Bridal or we would have been very discouraged. We went on to two other bridal stores, she slept on it, and the next day we returned to David's Bridal. We did not have an appointment this time but Brittany was so attentive and took great care of us. She tried on again the very first dress that she had tried on the day before and was affirmed that indeed "this was the dress". It was a very emotional moment as "the bell" was brought over to her and beautiful words were shared. My daughter made her wish and rang the bell! Everyone cheered while myself and her maid of honor cried. All the staff came over and congratulated her. It was a very special time and we felt incredibly blessed by this experience. I cant really say much about the store itself (good store, clean, typical bridal store) but I have to mention CAITLIN! She is a ROCKSTAR employee, through her I have purchased 2 designer wedding dresses, 2 squeems, 1 cathedral veil, 1 belt, jewelry shoes and 4 bridesmaids dresses (i'm probably missing some) from my first bridal appointment I fell in love with this consultant, she is absolutely non judgemental, honest, empathetic and above all efficient. She never ONCE sighed at any of my requests (as outlandish as they sometimes are) and everytime I have to go purchase something at this store I work my schedule around when she is in, no joke. We always laugh during our appointment and I truly feel as if she has my back. She's always honest about my options but works out what she possibly can to make the appointment easier. Another example of her kindness is how encouraging she has been about the fit of my dress, I wanted something absolutely form fitting and picked a dress one size smaller than recommended, not only didn't she judge me, she always encourages me about the weight i've lost when I try on my dress. I don't have enough good things to say about this consultant, she is like the friend you wish you had which is so important during something as stressful and personal as a wedding dress consultation. Again, I always request to work with her and you should too, it will make a world of difference in your appointment (I say this having worked with other people in Davids Bridal, all lovely, but they are not Caitlin!) I cannot express my gratitude towards such a terrific consultant, Kendra! Not only has she managed to save my wedding day from a total wardrobe meltdown, she was fabulous at doing it! Although I am from Hamilton, as are my bridesmaids, as soon as I called her in a complete panic over the horrible customer service I was receiving at another David's Bridal, I knew within minutes of talking to her, I had found the right girl. 2 trips to Cambridge with 3 of my bridesmaids was well worth the commute and I would travel even further if that's what it took to deal with Kendra. She is friendly, energetic, experienced, passionate and empathetic. She took the time to properly measure the girls BEFORE she even began pulling dresses.....6 consultants I have used at another David's location and never once did my bridesmaids get measured prior to, and when they did (after guessing their own size), my sister, for example was measured 2 sizes too big. When it came to the measurements and sizes, she was very discreet with the girls and gave them their sizes privately without announcing it for everyone close to hear, which the girls were really impressed with. Kendra also gave me fantastic ideas for my own bridal dress; how I could customize my girls dresses to suit my theme and colours, as well as a couple of ideas for 'keepsake boxes' after the wedding, which I will definitely be doing. My wedding is less than 3 weeks away now, and I got all my alternations done under the care of the alterations manager Wazhma Azamyar. I came to her to get my alterations completed with less than 2 months to my wedding (short engagement!). My dress needed many different alterations done, including hemming, shortening the shoulder straps, taking the sides in, adding two bustle components, a belt, buttons and built in bra cups. I even ended up buying crinoline at my first appointment to go under my dress that Wazhma helped me pick out (the crinoline made the dress really flow). The manager herself Wazhma met with me every time, and truly cared about what I had envisioned for my dress and how I wanted it to look for my wedding day. Not only did Wazhma meet every expectation, she did it with joy and happiness making this part of the wedding adventure feel special to me as a bride. My dress fits perfectly, and everything looks so professional and perfectly done. All my additions were completed with precision, even matching the beautiful lace straps perfectly to my shoulders, which don't look like they were altered at all, but rather made for me. She went beyond my expectations with how my dress would fit, and made the whole experience exciting, adding to my excitement as a bride. We started our bridal journey at David's Bridal. I knew of David's Bridal in Toronto and really didn't want to make that venture. A friend told me there was an outlet in Cambridge. I called and an appointment was made within an hour. We were greeted and made to feel very comfortable by the wonderful staff and beautiful store. Their selection of all gowns (Brides, bridesmaids and others) was very impressive. Denise, our expert consultant, was extremely knowledgeable, my daughter felt very at ease. She listened to what she had in mind and was not in any way forceful or pushy. Her selections and suggestions were very enlightening. A very important question she asked when Megan was in her dress and veil selection was "Megan, do you feel like a bride?" Through tears her answer was yes. Not to give anything away but the experience of the "bell ceremony" was very special. We were also very impressed with the prices of the gowns. We purchased the gown, undergarments and veil for less than other gowns that Megan had in mind. Thank you to everyone at David's that made our experience so wonderful. Wow what a wonderful experience to buy my wedding dress at Davids. As a plus size bride who isn't normally very girly, I was nervous to start the journey of finding my dress. Thankfully, David's carries sizes and samples in sizing up to 24, and so I had nothing to worry about!! My stylist,Kate Wheeler was extremely knowledgeable and probably knows every dress in that store. Being able to try on different styles of dresses in my size made the experience more fun! On my first appointment I was able to find my dress and the alterations process began. They were able to add a custom crystal appliqué and we're so helpful when deciding on the bustle. When I first tried on my dress they did it up with a beautiful French bustle, but when the time came for alterations I realized that with 13 pickups, it was going to be pricey. They managed to create the exact same look with only 8 pickups, saving me over 100 dollars! All in all my experience at Davids Bridal was very positive and I would recommend this location to anyone who is looking to get the right dress in any size and under budget!! read more

My bridesmaids, mother, and I went to David's Bridal in Cambridge on Saturday, October 25 to find bridesmaid dresses and possibly a dress for my mother. Our appointment was with Kendra, who was amazing! She asked what we were looking for (colour, length, material, cut) and pulled 4 different dresses, with a dress for each bridesmaid in each style so they could all try on the dress at the same time (of course, not all in my colour, but still very helpful!). Our appointment started at 12:30, and by 12:45 we had the dress picked! Then, my mom found her dress. 45 minutes into our appointment, we were ordering and paying for dresses. Kendra was absolutely wonderful. Despite having two appointments at the same time (the other a bride), the second my bridesmaids stepped out of the fitting rooms, she was there to clip dresses and ask what we thought. Her dress recommendations were right on the money, and she was so helpful and friendly. I've had past experiences at David's Bridal that left me feeling stressed and frustrated, but my experience on Saturday was phenomenal. read more

I made an appointment for this past weekend at David's Bridal in Cambridge. When I arrived, everyone was super friendly and full of smiles. They were so excited to be able to help me find the perfect dress. I had the pleasure of having Kendra be my stylist. Not only was she super professional, she was so kind and helpful. She asked me what I had in mind and I showed her a picture, she immediately found the dress and brought a couple more that she thought I would love. She was right, the first dress I tried on was the one she had chosen for me and after trying on 6 more, I went with the very first dress! My family and bridal party were super excited as well. Then she helped my Maid of Honour and bridesmaids find the perfect dresses as well. I would not have found my perfect dress if it had not been for Kendra. I have been searching since Feb of this year, over three different cities and in the best popular boutiques including Kleinfelds! I never thought for a minute that "The" dress for my special day was right around the corner at David's Bridal! The consultant I had was amazing, patient and really helped me make the right decisions. I was always drawn to other styles, fabrics, & silhouettes, Kendra helped me go outside the box and choose something totally opposite and it was the best choice ever it made me cry-literally saying yes to this dress. It's a very emotional time and going to this store made my experience so much better. I can't wait now to get married and see the photos of me in my gown! On top of it, the prices are so affordable and honestly after all my research the dress looks so Rich! I can't believe the end price was so affordable! David's Bridal is a great place to find more than just a wedding dress! I found a gorgeous evening gown (one of a kind!) to wear to a magnificent gala event in California this summer. The amazing seamstress and manager, Wazhma Azamyar was just brilliant in intricately modifying the body of the dress to maintain the hem style without touching the actual hem--to shorten the length! Wow... I was so impressed! She was attentive and polite and just really smart to work with! The girls in the shop were very confident and organized as they dealt with their clients. Last year my daughter got her wedding gown there and the staff, under Wazhma were exquisite in their attention to detail and in welcoming the "viewing guests" as well. I went to David's Bridal in Cambridge this past weekend in search for my perfect wedding dress. This was my first attempt at dress shopping. I was not sure what to expect and was unsure of what I was looking for. Upon arrival I was greeted with a warm welcome. They called the associate that I was booked with ( Kendra Schnurr ) She brought me back to the changing area and made me feel right at home. She was very good at listening to what I wanted and didn't want but she also gave some great insight as to what she though would be best. She was very helpful with adding accessories to help achieve the look I was going for. After trying on a few, she went and found the perfect dress for me! Where do I begin? Let me start by highly recommending Kendra. She was absolutely wonderful! I went into this location with my mom looking for my second dress as the first one I purchased just wasn't right and my decision felt rushed. I was in town for only a day and they were able to squeeze me in earl the next morning for an appointment (very accommodating). I explained our situation to Kendra and she took me through the whole process from scratch and she listened to what I was looking for. I had the pleasure of being assisted by Kendra at this David's bridal. I had been to two previous locations in the GTA and her service stood out substantially. Firstly, I had the incorrect appointment time (1 hour early) but she took me immediately. She listened to what I liked and didn't like about the previous gowns I had tried on and picked other gowns based on my opinions. She was extremely efficient in utilizing the time in my appointment. I never had to awkwardly wait outside my dressing room for her to help me do up the gown, she was right there to assist me. She also shared her opinions with a tone and attitude that felt genuine. She didn't try to up sell my purchase and also respected my budget. She made my experience positive and I am going to return to this David's Bridal for my bridesmaid's dresses. I just tried on wedding dresses for the first time. Sophia was my consultant and she was so wonderful. I told her from the start that I am not the person to just buy something on a whim so even if I fall in love with a dress I was not going to buy it today. I need time to think about it. Even though she knew she wouldn't be make a sale today she was still so helpful, caring and friendly. She gave me extra time after my appointment was done to try different things with one of the dresses. She then proceeded to help my mother try on a couple dresses for the wedding. Went to David's Bridal in Cambridge to look for a dress for my son's wedding in October. I had previously bought my dress for my daughter's wedding in 2014 at David's Bridal, so I figured I would find something. We had an amazing young lady help us out. Her name was Emma Kelly. She went above and beyond with me and my sister. She was so helpful with bringing dresses in and being honest about what looked good and what did not. There were also two other ladies but I am sorry I cannot remember their names. Emma did such a wonderful job that my sister actually bought a dress there as well. I went to David's Bridal with my friends looking for "the dress" for my wedding. Not sure of what I was looking for, but knowing I wanted something somewhat non-traditional, Sales Associate Kendra went to work right away to help me find the perfect dress. I tried on six... But ultimately decided on the first dress she picked...a tea length lace and beaded strapless dress. It was spectacular, and once paired with the Vera Wang belt, was gorgeous. The reaction of my friends and Kendra when I ca,e out of the change room said it all! Thanks to Kendra for making a very nerve-wracking experience so amazing! Can't say enough good things about my experience at this location of David's Bridal. I have been to other locations, but this one will have my repeat business. I've already been back two more times! My bridesmaid got their dresses here, my flower girl got her dress here, and so did my mom. Great experience with friendly staff who were happy to help, and most especially weren't pushy and didn't just try to make a sale. Honesty counts - hate when places tell you everything looks good instead of making recommendations based on their experiences.
